Yeah we need the money from listening to Phil Hay this morning. Apparently we owe £50m in transfer fees this summer from activity in the premier league.

You would hope that the legal team at the 49`s would have gone through the finances and contracts before they bought the club.
To now find we owe 50 million along with all the loans put into the players contracts and as a result we can`t bring in money to buy players smacks naivety.
So either they`ve not done due diligence which you would think is highly unlikely.
Or they knew about it but were prepared to write it off and invest in the squad.

Yeah they knew about it.. it's just basically been paid for by parachute payments. The Adams money will help now which is good. Phil Hay said keep an eye on Charlie Taylor over this next week as possible an incoming to Leeds.

The transfer outlay is pretty standard stuff. Barely any transfers are not paid over a several year period.
Budget projections are also standard, so the club will have a pretty good idea of where the club are likely to be financially over the next few years. They'll be loose plans in place at the very least

The signs are there that Farke is going to make us a quality team when he gets the team and squad he needs. We need some experience because it is a relatively young team. The main frustration for me was Messlier with the distribution. Their goal came because he tried to play out and WBA picked it up. Too often he wants to play short balls that put people under pressure instead of just clearing it. Even at the end of the game in injury time, he was looking to play it out from defence. We should have won that game, but a great result given our bench
