After the first two results [size=120rhinos69[/size has hit the jackpot with two correct results and margins for the maximum 6 points at this stage. Sat just a few points outside the play off positions before the weekend commenced that has thrown him right into the mix.

Also above average scores for challengers [size=120steve slippery morris[/size and [size=120Hopie[/size who are both battling to gate crash the 8 in the final week.

Not that I understand how the play-offs will work, with regards to sponsor qualification etc.

I believe the top 8 scorers who are sponsors qualify for the playoffs which follow the same format as the real-life playoffs.

In the case of ties after 27 regular prediction rounds, I'm not sure how the ties are split.

The pretty meaningless SL match at the Willows is going to be quite crucial in the prediction competition I think.

2 Correct winning margins for me aswell tonight

On the first part, sometime earlier in the thread, it was sugested that the top 8 are the top 8 regardless of whether they are sponsors or not. Just that the non-sponsors (should there be any) would not be entitled to any prizes allocated during the play-offs.

tradition (not that it means anything) states that those who are not sponsors never actually entered the prediction competition in the first place, its a generous act of charity to work out their scores

depending on what ties there are then they may not need splitting

1st place is assured
1 point separates 2nd and 5th
1 point separates 6th and 10th
