i wasnt planning on the rain thing! Havent paid for luggage on the plane so 10kg hand luggage all we have, not a great deal if your packing for rain.My experience of summer in south of France is that it ought to be warm enough for shorts regardlesss of it raining.Ibis central will be full by the looks of the posts on here, hope theyve ordered enough beer in!

On the other hand, summer rain in that part of the world is nothing like the rain we get here ....

1 ) It will be warm rain for starters

2 ) A lot of showers tend to last for an hour, by which time the sun is out again and it is scorchio again. Compare that to here where it can settle in for three days during mid-Summer

3 ) We've had our one game in a thunder storm already this season

4 ) It will be swealtering in a rain jacket, so why not just go al-fresco and hope you'll dry off later ?

Weather.com says showers, 20% chance of rain on Friday, T-showers 60% chance of rain on Saturday. Will we get as wet as at Castleford???? Still warm though in the 70s.

Think they like the fact that you can fall out of the castillett bat and practically into bed. Had a quick look at it last year - wanted to be in town centre this year. We were too far out at the Kennedy lasta year, 20 min walk into the town centre was too much as we were there for a week- especially if we were getting the bus to the beach as well

Posters have been passed to cafe and restaurant owners where I feel appropriate (the one I want to go in and be free of ts)

I have arranged for a private table at an un-named restaurant after the game, after that I will be going to Canet, he will not be an issue to me. I hope he gets drunk and gets arrested.

I have also sent a poster through to the local police station and the ground security staff, should he cause any trouble he will be ejected and arrested!

Flying friday coming back monday staying in the hotel we stayed in every year in the centre, but a little peeved that i got standing tickets with 2 small kids but at least there will be beer and sun

After reading the weather reports on numerous websites for Perpignan Im sure there will be lot more beer than sun!

Apparantly its rain Friday & Saturday with possible rain on Sunday.

Anyone else read this? Im a little gutted to be honest, I expected to be sat in a nice bar/ cafe or beer garden basking in the glorious sunshine, not watching it chuck it down.

I am going with people who went last year and apparently Sunday is beach day!!

Might be different down on the coast but certainly in the centre of Perpignan its very quiet on Sunday afternoon and evening.
