Yeah, outstanding performance that against an in form team who's won last 4. We should have had 7 at least. very wasteful but also very unlucky, the officiating was diabolical, was a blatant pen on Aaronson, absolute stone wall pen. Goal chalked off at the end was never offside, Lino took 20 seconds to make his decision, caved into to Cov players. Piroe goal was superb, took it really well, was gob smacked he missed that 1 on 1 near the end as he doesn't normally miss those, their keeper had a blinder second half though. Messlier 2 saves were fabulous, Farke decision to keep him in has been justified now. Fair play.

Yes all in all against a team coming into form we put the game to bed early then put the cue on the rack. Infuriating in a way just how sloppy and wasteful we were at times but as said, a wins a win and if we didn't make things hard for ourselves it just wouldn't be Leeds. Missed a hatful of chances that could've really skyrocketed our GD and cant understand how that wasn't a penalty, hey ho, the merry go round of baffling ref decisions in the Championship goes on.

Don’t wonder James was livid and booted the post. You can get away with a centre forward who only takes one out of every 3 or 4 chances at this level, but that’s why Piroe will be on his bike if we go up.

Piroe will have his uses in the Prem (if we go up) of the bench. He is a superb finisher.

I agree. he definitely isn't a starter. but is a useful bench player

He’s a championship player for a reason, just like the rest of the squad, he’s not going to score every chance he gets

anyhow, not sure what side will be selected tomorrow, given we play Tuesday. I could see a brand new 11 play but realistically probably 6 changes. still favourites but makes it more difficult. rather have 3 points Tuesday if I'm honest. lucky enough to have picked up a sheff u ticket. £43 for a championship game. disgusting

absolute drivel. james has been brilliant at times, as I have said numerous times. I've simply questioned his consistency. he gets that right he could play at a far higher level. although. like piroe, that's why he's a top end championship player rather than a premier league player. interesting if we go up how he does next season. you fool nobody. carry on bluffer

James has potentially been the most improved player under Farke, his first touch and his decision making used to be shocking. He’s up there with the best in the championship but his crossing could be much better, I fear he’s found his level tho, he deserves another shot at playing in the prem but could see him back at a top champ club, likewise Piroe

again, james could be a massive asset off the bench against tiring teams next season. you look at the whole squad and I'm thinking maybe 5 are premier league quality. it's bloody difficult for any teams going up

someone may not like piroe but god forbid he gets hurt as joseph was absolutely dog today. garbage. strjuik looks miles off the pace and guilivogi dreadful. awful performance but it's Tuesday that counts

Schmidt and Chambers aside, and maybe Ramazani, the rest were abject. Josh, Joseph, and Ampadu were particularly dreadful. Sunderland's result was more important than ours today, though.

10 changes today and you could tell we have our focus on the league. Let’s hope Piroe stays fit though.. Joseph showed today why we looked seriously at Archer, however it was in a very mixed up team

We were never gonna win the cup, so in that regard today was no big deal. I feel sorry for the fans who had to watch it, especially the ones that only manage to get tickets for the cup games. The extra revenue would have been nice from progression into the next round and possibly beyond, but would it realistically have made any difference to our short term aims and progression ? On the plus side, we had minutes into the legs of players who may feature if called upon, and maybe Farke’s had the chance to see the limitations of some players and potential of others. I’m sure we’d all love to be watching a Leeds team at this stage next season that has at least a small chance of going all the way to Wembley. Fingers crossed.
