Thanks Mclaren. Been around long enough to know my post would initiate a tiraid of abuse; however I still put the points on the table. We are playing awful at the moment. 2 possible and plausible causes. First the team has the mentality that the season starts 15 August. Second a situation similar to Saints with Royce. I live in Hampshire so do not get to many games. My family are regulars, but when they start saying they are going to skip games then I wonder how many others will too. Poor performances do not encourage paying fans, no paying fans no cash through turnstiles. Start of financial downward spiral

. On a serious note, it's great to be Superleague and World Champions but I wish we could live up to the tag on a frequent basis throughtout the regular season.

He has a point though. What is the point in buying a season ticket for the Rhinos whilst you see below par performances all year. Was last years success more to do with Wigan and Warrington fatigued and out of form rather than Leeds being better. You'd have to wait to the end of the season to see if last season was through a bit of luck or because they were worthy champions and better players as individuals and as a team.

Bloody hell, your only 6 points behind 1st place with a game in hand. Not crisis time. Not making excuses, but the three teams you played, you couldn't have chosen a worse time. Saints, new coach and don't think there was a team on the planet that would have stopped them that night. Huddersfield, full strength and you were playing them after they had a loss. Then the Bulls derby. Derbies form out of the window and you were playing a Bulls team who had the mentality of us against the world. You proabably should have won at least one of them. But before these 3 games i thought Leeds the best team in the league.

It's not the same as last year as you were poor for most of it until August. This year i feel you have been very good until the last 3 games.

Even in a 14 team Super league, it should be a top 5 play off system, 6 at a push. This would ensure that teams need to perform to a higher standard on a more regular basis, if they are to win the championship.
