A little better than 4. But hey, he made 24 tackles. Of course, far younger, inexperienced backrowers Pitts and Clarkson made 33 and 44 respectively......and more hit ups than the softcock.

But still some are happy with the cowardly lion's contribution.

Good Stats For Clarkson

He seems to have really upped his work with the ball in recent weeks.

I see Lee Smith managed to miss more tackles than he made. Oh dear.

A pretty good shift put in without the ball by both him and Pitts. Stats never tell the whole story (meters made are particularly easily distorted) but you don't make 44 and 33 tackles without having a decent work ethic.

How good is Ray Cashmere? Mega surprising he's never played for a bigger club.

Ray Cashmere just sounds too much like he might be a Private Eye in a 70s TV series. That's probably what's held him back IMO.

Rays just appear to have a hard time being taken seriously in RL these days. Leeds have only fielded one in the past 32 years (and he was crapola) and during SL there have only been 3 in total that have faced Leeds including Cashmere - the others were Allen - London Broncos '96 and Mercy - North Queensland Cowboys '97.

There's another one commentating that I struggle to take seriously.

Just watched the "Highlights" on the SL website, some shocking defending by Leeds, especially sinfield watching broughton score and Kylie for the last try.

I think Webb still had a chance to take Broughton into touch after Sinfield missed him.(Sorry Tvoc i thought it was Smithy)
On the last try it wasn't just Kylie their lad walked past Peacock and again Webb as though they weren't there.

Smith's stats from his last few games are dire indeed. Were both BJB and Hardaker injured? Hardaker seems to be a bit on the outer for some reason, when on form I would have thought he'd at least be second choice right wing after BJB.

For the Broughton score, Watkins has to share the blame. IIRC he was caught out which lead to the overlap and he didn't sprint back to cover the hole he made, he was jogging. He should have bust a gut to get back across.

As for the actual score, from my view it always looked that Broughton would beat Sinfield down the flank so Webb had the better chance to nail him.

I think given space to work Broughton is always going to out-strip a forward, particularly one not noted for great speed. Webb could, perhaps, have done better, but some credit is due for a decent finish. Stood up a slower player, beat him on the outside and found his way in at the corner.

I've seen the Broughton try. Good finish but Webb might be a bit embarrassed. He should be pleased he's finally found the pace to outrun a blazing Sinfield.
