Had Watkins not done this it's quite possible the Hudds player could have caught it, scored and won the game for Hudds. We would then be looking at a different scenario as regards the league positions.

Try looking at the bigger picture.

You don't need to look at the bigger picture, you just look at the tries. It was a simple interception of a crappy Huddersfield pass. That was all there was to it. How can you possibly judge that as a better try than one which goes through 10 pairs of hands and requires a great deal of skill to create?

I am voting F because it was needed to win the game, we did not score off that or possibly the next play we were going to lose. It is all about the need, intent and desire to score try F. Great vision by Danny and great support by all. D is good try but not scored under the pressure and the outright need to score try F.

I think the drama of it was the clincher for me. The panalty for offside when Diskin fumbled giving us another crack, just seconds left, McGuire falling over his own feet, Ganson desperately hoping the video ref could help him out....it had everything.

This is a try of the season competition. If the back story behind the tries was important, then they'd include it. But they don't. They simply show the tries.

Watkin's try was a decent try for him to score, but the simple fact is that it was an awful error from Huddersfield which gave us the try, not great play from us.

It's pretty much implied in all try and goal of the season competitions.

A great try to win the Grand Final will obviously be judged higher than a great try in a 10 try stuffing, but you don't judge a terrible try in the Grand Final higher than a great try in a drubbing.
