For every success story of changing a coach there will be a story of failure.

I'm happy to give Furner a bit more time, but whilst we look quite good at times in attack our defence is horrible, and its the one area of the game where attitude and working together counts more than ability. Some very competitive teams have been built entirely around a limited set of players that work their s off in defence. I can only think we've got serious morale issues within the squad, as we've changed coaches three times in a year and the defence is getting worse, not better.

It’s amazing how stupid some people are, well done for confirming that. The calls on McDermot were on the damage he was doing for long term, exactly showing up proven right now. You need to wake up, those people were correct. People like you that can obviously be blamed for backing that right now.

Of course there is but what is clear is that Furner isn't get the team playing for him. He certainly has made us go backwards since last year. The defensive structure is appalling and that is something the coach can improve on.

If Furner can't coach defence then we need someone who can. Needn't be his replacement but we've been weak as p1ss in that department from day 1 and it constantly costs us metres and constantly costs us tries. Needs players to put their shoulders in as opposed to grabbing and it needs others to hit low and halt the leg drives. Basics, in other words. Course, you need players with the stomach for hard work for it to work rather than plain, ordinary stomachs.

In all seriousness the squad in the main is poop. We know it is poop. Furner now knows too that it is poop. The guy deserves a chance to turn it around and its far too early to be moving the deck chairs. We are probably going to be bottom 4 but we won't go down; give him a chance to bring in the players he wants and off load the garbage get a good pre season and then judge from next season.

It was never going to be a quick fix to get us up there again and chopping the coach after every 6 months is not the solution.

Ive been told this morning that Furner is not popular at all with the players and the coaching staff. This was from a current member of the coaching team. The person who told me this knows the coaching team member very very well.

If we don't win any more games this month and he'll be gone, coaches are the easiest people to get rid of, the playing roster isn't going to change this year so Furner will take the bullet, I'm not a fan of sacking coaches so early but it will happen if we don't pick up some wins soon.

Furner might not be popular with some players but so what? Their rubbish got McDermott fired as well.

Apparently Brian Mac wasn't popular either... We were told to expect a response from the players when he left, but it didn't happen.

The players need to be professional and get on with their jobs. The coach won't be popular if he's having to highlight their deficiencies in defence week-in, week-out. Furner is not missing the tackles out on the field.

London will still go down. As i said, it will be a slog all season and will be bottom 4 but we will get enough wins to survive its still early days.

We need to beat both Hull Kr and The Giants at home Plus the Salford away game in the next month, otherwise it's looking pretty grim. The fixture list for the next couple of months is fairly kind to us after our tough start.

We are pretty awful right now at times no doubt. We are fortunate London are in SL this year or it would be panic stations. Yes they are above us but we will still find at least 6/7 wins imo and London have had their moment with the early surprise wins.
