Any update on Newman's injury?

Newmans injury ? I spoke to him after the game he's not injured..... He cramped in the game that's all

Thought it was noticeable that when Corey Johnson went off England lost control of the game. Soon as he returned England looked much better again. Muizz ran strongly as he always does.

As previously mentioned the Wigan 7 Harry Smith had a superb game and was best player on the park.

I expect a much better Australian performance on Friday night at The Emerald though.

I agree, I thought Corey Johnson had a top game. Ethan Havard was the pick of the forwards for me. I also thought Welsby and Newman were very good, Harry Smith was outstanding and a well deserved m.o.m.

Newman, Holroyd, Mustapha, Johnson and Mclelland are all great prospects for Leeds.

I thought McLelland was poor yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised to see Welsby moved to #6 for the next game.

Agree that McLelland wasn't great but I would keep him there for friday night, it was never going to be easy for him without any RL for 12 months.
The Senior twins were disappointing too so they'll need to improve in game 2.

To be fair he wasn't brilliant for Lancashire either.

Thought the Senior twins did a lot of work up the middle actually helping the forwards out. Admittedly one dropped a pass with line open but in the main I thought they did a decent job for the team

I Agree, they also nullified the aerial threat from kicks. for me the team stays the same bar injuries.

I thought Wakefield and Castleford were allegedly good at producing players, not a single one in the squad between them. The same with Warrington and Salford.

Warrington poach other teams youngsters then ruin them

McClelland, Johnson and Trout are all from Cas and Wakefield.

From that area yes, but not products of those clubs. I remember under licenceing and Cas fans trying to claim Rob Burrow was a Castleford product.

Michael McIlorum is from Leeds and played for Stanningley youth sides, it still doesn’t make him a Leeds product.

The minimum number of club trained players was a great rule and should never have been scrapped.

i have not said they have and nobody is claiming him as a leeds product, but as he is of academy age and expect him to start in academy next year is is a leeds academy player.

Me too Tad, I never miss the opportunity to see these games as there's always some fantastic talent on show for both sides.

I recall seeing Latrell Mitchell playing in 2014 for the Aussie schoolboy's and knew that he was destined for big things in our game,it was like watching a clone of Greg Inglis

great games. seen a few U15 games too.
