I live in WF4 and have been a leeds supporter since the early 60s, hardly miss a match home or away. Will continue to support whatever happens. It's a cracking atmosphere at Mount Pleasant on Match day.

You know what, I'd kind of enjoy the middle 8s experience, visiting grounds I hadn't been to in ages and much smaller, far less successful clubs that could use our money like, you know, Bradford.

If it's the option of scraping a Top 8 spot with little to no chance of reaching the Top 4, then Middle 8's would be preferable IMO. It'd certainly be an experience for the remaining bandwagoners, glory hunters and postcode traitors who are not accustomed to such alternative old school RL venues.

Even better if Hunslet were to scrape into the Middle 8's and face Leeds at home. Printer could step outside of his home 5 minutes prior to kick-off and still walk it there in time.

I think Hunslet would do very well to face Leeds in the middle 8s this season but I get your point.

I have a few friends who, like me are a BD postcode person but they have chose to support Leeds in the last few years. Very strange folk

I agree. but happens in all sports though.The Bulls in particular benefiting from this behaviour during the glory years.

We used to go when the Championship was placed in the winter and SL in the summer. The academy used to play there quite a bit years ago.

Judging by our performances lately against Batley, Dewsbury and Halifax where we have had 1 draw and 2 losses, I certainly won't be holding my breath

I remember Mount Pleasant in the days of one division only. They didn't have corner flags just road signs marked "Steep Hill" and when the ball landed on the corrugated metal roof of the stand everyone was showered in rust

I actually agree with this I would rather be in the middle 8 than scrape into the bottom of the 8 with no chance of making top 4 would be a pretty dull end to the year

Personally I would be very happy to see us make the top 8 even with no chance of making the top 4 as it will mean we have got some wins under our belt and hopefully in a better place than we are now.

I think the middle 8's would be better long term - the club would have to seriously re-assess where is was and how it was going to put things back on an even keel. Making the 8 just papers over the cracks.

There is no chance of the club not being in SL - no matter what happens.

I want us to finish as high as possible but even then IF GH still has anything about him he still should have seen enough to realise the changes that are needed on & off the pitch.
