he is, he's refusing to sign an extended deal (according to the press). a current leeds player helped us with our training last night and he say's sinny isn't going anywhere, buderus has never taken a training session (which was a rumour) when i ask him about these rumours he pi55es himself laughing

Totally agree, Sinfield will be on mega wages at Leeds and seems to be Leeds through and through.

Not only will he be on Mega bucks but because he has been at the club for over 10 years only half of his wages contribute towards the salary cap.

But its has to be said that when rumours are repeated over and over again (like this one) it usually is true.

The limit is a maximum of £50,000 total per club and there is more than just Sinfield qualifying for the exemption.

Personaly id see moving to Warringoton a massive challenge - Although i cannot picture Sinfield without a captaincy armband. Sinfield is the player he is because he has full control over the side. I've now heard it from two quite reliable sources, one Gobe and one bloke who seemed adamant Warrington's CEO informed him that Sinfield is a done deal whilst in Spain last weekend.

I think he'd jump at the chance to play for Che Smith again, tbh.

Do you still think half of Sinfield's, Senior's, Jones-Buchanan's salaries are ignored under the salary cap regulations?

I wouldn't think Sinfield was that interested in money. I'm sure he gets enough of that at Leeds already.

If he isn't interested in becoming the highest scoring player in Leeds RL history that would be a shame, not least for me.

When i first heard it, which was as soon as Smithy took over Warringotn, i p!ssed myself. But when you hear it over again and you hear this 'my freind is close to the Rhinos/Wire' and he says he is going all the time, then you can slowly start to believe it.

Pray that it aint true because it really will be the end of an era.

Well here's another rumour. In the Airport yesterday morning, I was speaking to a former warrington player. He reckoned that Leeds were signing Matt King for next season.

Personally, I think its a bag of b0ll0ccks, but this thread seems full of them, so thought I would post it anyway.

Is he out of contract next year? if not then I can't see anyone offering him what he gets at Wire + a signing fee.

But to be fair it was a former Wire player, and he was not pishing, he did seem like he believed it. Probably spent some time in the bar before I spoke with him.

I’ve got a mate that used to be a friend of an ex player’s hairdresser’s butcher, whose window cleaner used to do the house opposite to the place where Lee Briers gets his Bikini wax done and he said that Leeds and Warrington are trialling a revolutionary new scheme where the players from both clubs will be fully interchangeable.

This means that any player from Warrington can play for Leeds and vice-versa, he also said that a dogs tongue never stops growing and if you cut a lama in half two will grow back.

Personally I think the lama thing is a crock of shizer.

I still think there is more chance of that than Sinfield going to Wire, or King to Leeds.
