The basis of the appeal is that his arm was within the normal range of movement and therefore it couldn’t possibly have caused an unacceptable risk of injury. Which is probably true to be fair

For what it’s worth, Saints have by far and away been the best team in recent times. That’s not the axe I want to grind here.

If that’s not proof that the panel isn’t fit for purpose and at the very least there is some pot luck based on who is sitting on it for you that week I don’t know what is.

How can a supposedly joined up body come to two completely different Verdicts literally days apart. And more so, who knew you could appeal an appeal. Leeds did this for Martin but I’m sure that was appealing the frivolous part.

I have tried to be balanced about all this talk regarding potential bans but I am sorry this absolutely stinks! A player commits a deliberate act is banned and appealed then upheld and unlike other teams no frivolous verdict. Now suddenly appealed again and overturned. Since when could you appeal twice! I thought they were incompetent but obviously corrupt as well!
I know you will defend your team which is fair enough but to all neutrals your 4 in a row has been devalued now if you achieve it.
