Seizures can be caused by numerous things and it is not our job to speculate and make the diagnosis.
I`m sure he will be referred for scans and if he has been discharged so quickly then that is a good sign.
He could be back playing after the HKR game or he could be out a while.
Time will tell.
Fingers crossed it is nothing serious and he makes a full recovery.

Hardaker will always stir emotions - his previous behaviour hardly puts him in the best light. Other than Penrith he has left every club due to off the field issues. This cannot and should not be ignored when you are trying to elevate the culture at the club and give positive guidance to young players about what is expected of elite athletes. In a world outside of entertainment he would be out of work but we seem to view sports in a different light i.e. its importance is blown out of all proportion to actual reality.

If you sign a contract you should honour that contract unless both parties agree to a change - Hardaker knew what he was doing when he signed for Wigan. To behave the way he did in the off season is disrespectful to the club and his team mates.

I am all for giving people a second chance but if people don't learn then why should repeated bad behaviour be rewarded - what precedence does that set?

This club will never be relegated - the league would change the criteria. We have a number of injuries but there was no need to sign Hardaker and if that is the only reason he has been signed what does that say about the club and its forward planning? As Sinfield has shown the younger players have potential - they need to be given the opportunity to learn and develop

Bradford were relegated because they went bust - it was a badly run club. Leeds is the biggest club in Yorkshire and along with Wigan the biggest club in SL. No chance the RFL would let Leeds be relegated. If Leeds finished bottom they would increase the number of clubs in the league.

Leeds has the biggest support, the best stadium, one of the strongest financial positions and represents the biggest city in the competition.

If Leeds finish bottom I would want us to be relegated as SL would be a complete laughing stock I not…..

That isn't why he was let go, its stuff that happened in the last few weeks.

I wasn't keen on having Zak back for all the obvious reasons. However, now that he is, I want him to make a difference on the field and go some way to rehabilitate his pretty shabby reputation. Hope he is back and OK sooner rather than later.

In the off season he made it quite obvious he wanted to leave and move back to West Yorkshire - this went on right to the start of the current season. Its disruptive and unprofessional.

Wigan were also pretty unprofessional

Pretty reasonable request from Wigan really. He claimed he wanted to leave due to the commute, so the club ruled out Hull/KR as that was the same commute.

I'm really sorry I haven't been on here to quell some of the frankly disgusting "posting" on this thread quicker. Ive removed a few posts here and there to clean the thread up so if you have had a seemingly innocuous post removed its just been for expediency.

Castleford to Hull is probably half the journey time of Castleford to Wigan isn't it?

I think it was Pontefract to Hull as opposed to Pontefract to Wigan that was being discussed at the time. It is shorter but is still a substantial commute of around 100 miles round trip.

Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery and they find nothing. Even so he could be out for a couple of months at least and may not be able to drive for 6 months or more whilst being monitored.
Given the timing it could be stress related. As I say hope he is fine and his son was not too upset at seeing him taken ill.

It’s still a fair trek but the M62 from Ponte to West Hull is an easy drive, a veritable gentleman’s boulevard. I drove it every day for years plus another 15 miles up the A1.

It’s a doddle compared to heading to Lancashire on the M62.

Anyway, sadly After his seizure I don’t think he will be driving anywhere for a bit.

If you have a seizure they get you to do all kinds of scans (including ones where they try to induce similar episodes). If they can't replicate it or see other signs they will rule out systemic issues such as epilepsy and you can get a medical clearance to drive reasonably quickly. It might sound strange to not find a cause, but its not unusual if someone only has one seizure.

If he doesn't play for a while would it still count on our cap seen as he himself has played in SL?

if course it counts, but I reckon he’ll be back for next game all being well.
