Look at the team Wigan put out that went and won at Barrow away!! Todays result doesn't say much for the Rhino's fringe first teamers and young players. Fev are an excellent side now under Powell though with a good young squad!

you don't know if leeds have had a tough week in training.
you don't know if there was illness in the camp.

it's a pre-season game against the best team outside SL and we had a very average side out. no big deal,get over it

What other squads/teams do is irrellevant ,it was a pre-season friendly we had a 17 and an 18 yr old at 6 and 7 with the 7 playing only his 2nd game for us and who has played less than 12 games of RL at all.
Now credit where it's due they won fair and square and look well prepared for their season whilst the Rhinos today have loads to work on as i posted but the doom and gloom you predict is bollox.
The kids will "hold their own" and do well against their own age groups and will learn from today.
The fringe 1st teamers like i said will have to improve 100% and most of them will and when they play with the rest of the 1st team squad will "step up".
No excuses you won and won well but the reality is when you break it down it's far from wrist slashing or the end of the club you are portraying.

Our kids and a couple of first teamers got a pasting – well that’s our season over for sure. Might as well call it a day, write off this year and hope we can do better next year.

God there are really some know-nowt, dumb fook, mentally challenged numb-nuts who have unsupervised access to the internet these days.

This is NOT the team that will be competing in the Super League this year FFS.

Great result today for us to say it is our first teams second outing. Thought your 2nd team would of been stronger than they were after the win at Hunslet last week but as you say we dont know at what stage they are in training at Leeds and what the coaching staff from Leeds wanted to get out of todays game.
As for the season ahead i hope we are good enough to get to a final again and win it this time with DP coaching i am feeling confident, he has changed the players set up 100% since he came.
As for Leeds you will have a good season like you always do todays game will have no bearing on your season ahead and most of the players wont play in your first team this season anyway. Lets hope we do not draw you in the CC because the result will be different and the team alot stronger Today is history now but we have to enjoy it while we can and i believe 2 seasons ago before DP came we wouldnt of got near you so you can see why we are happy we have come along way in 24 months.

IMO its a tad harsh to you to judge how a club will go during an entire season based on just One pre-season friendly though?


On a more personal note and IF i recall correctly, didn't Fev start last season very poorly in the Northern Rail cup, and did they not even qualify for the play-offs?
