So you don't think he would boost your pack when compared to Mullally, Garbutt, Galloway, Singleton, JJB, Ferres ? Generally speaking I agree with a lot of your views on Leeds / Cas, but I think you are very wrong as far as Junior Moors is concerned.

| Put Junior Moors into an auction with any Leeds forward and I'm fairly sure who would attract the highest bidder.

Your showing a lot of bias there, incredible really. Parcell is clearly and by absolutely miles the best hooker in Super League, and the only reason Leeds are where they are.
Ablett would be in any combined team, and Ward is clearly way above Milner, without putting down what Milner is bringing at all. Shenton has been a very good player for Cas and very under rated, but Moon is a much better and consistent performer.

| I respect your opinion, and it is all opinion of course. I'm not sure the bias is incredible, but it is there! Moon is a very good player, I give you that. Yesterday McShane clearly out performed Parcell, but hookers interchange. I have included Ward. I don't see what Carl would bring over those named, but again, I don't see Leeds week on week. I'm glad I'm not Bennet.

Sorry, but in what way did McShane outperform Parcell? you must have been watching a different game to me yesterday, where Parcell yet again makes just short of another 50 tackles, and was instrumental to our defence. But regardless of that, yesterday wasn't quite relevant, it should be looked over more than a game yesterday.

Castleford has some good players and a few should be past their best average ones and it's because of that the Castleford employee I would like to see return to the Headingley hot seat is the one sat in the stand.
The proviso there is that the CEO gives him the budget and lets him get on with the job.
It's a long season and the first half yesterday showed Cas won't have it all their own way if they want to win silverwear at which point the lack of star quality could yet bite.

| In what is a league of mediocrity i am intrigued about cas. If we don't win any silverware I would be happy to see them succeed.
I have this feeling when Wigan get the big guns fit again they will choke the life out of cas ,should they meet in a sudden death game.

Ok, you win that one, just checked the stats and Parcell performs highly, both yesterday and all season.
Parcell goes in, swap him from the bench. I haven't put McMeeken in, an international forward.
Another post refers to Cas's lack of star quality! Three current England starters, an international stand off, two international centres, Jesse and Junior walking into Samoa's team, and Millo, one of the most highly respected forwards in the game. Some of those "big club" supporters won't have it will they.
As far as the hype around the media for Cas, which is resented by many, it's not coming from the club, and DP is constantly trying to keep a lid on it, so don't blame Cas, who are simply playing what's in front each week.

| Tvoc, totally agree we won't have it all our own way. We have hull away in the cup, that will be a damn tough game, if we win that, we will have either wire Wigan salford wakefield or Leeds, all capable of beating us. I knew yesterday would be a totally different game to round 3. We could face Leeds another 4 times this season, none of which will be a walk in the park for either side.
Just for fun a select 17
Zak
Hall
Shenton (over watkins based on his leadership and defence)
Moon
Minikin
Roberts
Gale
Cuthbertson
McShane
Millington
McMeeken
Ferres (1.5 stone lighter though)
Ward
Ablett
Moors
Parcell (would add some zip against tiring defence but imo Mcshane controls the ruck more so should start)
Jessie Sene Lafeo

| Watched the game back today, as I was working yesterday when it was shown live. I must say, I was fuming at how Hardaker acted throughout the whole time. The kid's got bags of talent, there's no question, but the way he was chucking his arms about and chelping towards the Leeds players was a disgrace. He may do well to remember who put him on a pedestal, and stood by him when he was his usual D$ckhead self when out on the lash and causing bother. Who is it that actually still owns his registration again? Want to show some respect towards the club and uncle Gazza Zak lad.

| Quote ="Biff Tannen"You only had to look at our bench options to know we were going to lose that game. Like i said in a previous post, missing Galloway, Garbutt and Ablett was too much for us to cope with. Mullally tries his best but i'm sorry he's not good enough and then you have a winger (WTF) Burrow and crock Delaney it's nowhere near enough the required standard to match it for a full 80 against cass when they have the likes of Moors coming on.
I take encouragement because we did match them and looked pretty comfortable for most of the first 40 minutes. If we had a near full strength side in a big big match against anyone in this league never mind Cas, i would fancy our chances as it stands. Sadly our depth beyond the 17/18/19 best players is lacking badly.'"
"Crock Delaney" still put in a better performance than Singleton but Cuthbertson deserves special mention with 43 tackles 145 metres in 19 carries and 5 offloads with no errors. Great starting prop!

Yes, but Cuthbertson also played a lot more minutes than other forwards. However, I do entirely agree with you though, and I also agree with the comment on Singleton, whom I am unsure why is immune from critisism each week.

| Because he used to play for Leeds he's got to stay quiet and appeal for nothing? He'll have copped as much stick as he gave out, he appears to still be pals with plenty of Leeds players judging by all the tweeting malarkey.
Rubbish post, maybe the worst ever.

| I'm not having a pop but, you point out some of his shortcomings yourself, he behaved like a kn0b at times, got himself into bother and by most accounts was immature at best. But he was and is a damn fine rugby league player! Leeds let him go, made it clear we didn't want him, I can't think that he suddenly going to show grace and maturity, accept that he cocked up and move on with out any resentment towards GH in particular and the club in general. He has a fresh start and a new stage to demonstrate his considerable talent on. I hope he keeps his nose clean and reaches his full potential. But he may follow in the footsteps of various gifted players who pi$$ed their talent away. Leeds were right to get rid, he had had too many chances.

He is very good mates with Watkins and Ferres. He is also Watkins childs godfather. And the wind up play yesterday was coming from Ferres and a couple from Watkins. Not sure what the problem is to be honest that he appealed. Doesn't every player have a right to appeal to something?

| No issue with anything.. Nothing he doesn't do other weeks and you can't expect players to change how they approach a game just because it's against former teammates. When the first whistle goes it's 17 opposition players not 17 mates. Wouldn't want any Leeds player to alter how they go about themselves when they came up against a former club and tbf what Hardaker and the club have said publicly about one another in the aftermath of the move has all been good and no mud slinging and wishing each other the best.

| singletons tackles hard, runs hard and does the basics well. he's a modern day ward or bailey. rarely has a great game but is always a 7/10. never let's you down.
in a salary capped sport he is invaluable. not sure what people expect. him to be another jp?
suppose we'd be better off with mullally or ormandroyd

I'm not so sure he is anything close to a Ward, Bailey, or Scruton to be honest tad. There have been periods of games in previous couple of years he has looked like a really good player, and then the majority he is a big let down. Not sure he has done enough to be a starting forward, but a kick from time to time might push him in right direction. I can think of many games he wouldn't be a 7/10 player.

Think being an academy product rather than someone brought in helps not getting as much criticism. His metres made and metres per carry is very poor and well behind the other starting props, only McGuire and Golding are making less metres per carry in the whole squad. His defence is ok but nowhere near as good as some would say and I don't really does hurt people when he sticks to legal tackles. His carries and metres made on Sunday really aren't good enough for a starting prop.
