Meanwhile Mcshane had made 2 appearances as a substitute.

Would that be the top class form you were making your judgement from?

Business has to be fluid to maintain success. If somebody costs a lot of money it expects performance. If somebody has made the company money in the past it rightly expects that to continue. It remains a business never a charity.

As others have quite eloquently stated: let's stop making this a pi55ing contest and deal in the facts.

Buderus deserves his place because he is the better distributer; better passer of the ball; better at running selectively from dummy half and is the better at tackling.

Diskin apparently deserves his place because he is better for team moral (presumably even if the team loses owing to his lesser skills) and has been part of an amazingly successful (not unappreciated) run for Leeds in the past.

From the perspective of an impartial onlooker ....not a fanatical desire to be "one of the lads" or having a misguided loyalty to someone they think cares two hoots about he or she.....which makes more sense ?

As for McShane: whether he has the ability to make the grade might be questionable (although the Hull FC fans seem to rate him highly enough.) but how long before he decides he has exhausted his patience ? Does he not deserve to be at least second only to one other next season ? On present merit that looks like Buderus. Maybe he hasn't yet won "man of match" with Leeds...but until he is given an extended run in his rich present vein of form for the whole match that ccould continue to evade him

If McShane fails the test there will be other options if Diskin is no longer with the club ...what's Lunt's present contract situation ? Doesn't Sinfield get picked for his country to play hooker ??

Good times the club has HAD ....the skill is to maintain that without over thanking present staff.

Further; all those who maintain they have unquestioning faith in the present management / coaching staff with the persistence in accommodating Diskin ....is this not the same set-up that courted and brought over Buderus in the first place ? Do you really consider he was added to the squad as an "expensive luxury" ? Do you still have that same unquestioning faith in THAT decision ? Or is it possible they sometimes get it wrong ?

I didn't "come on correcting people on their English Language" ...merely on the use of the apostrophe. I cannot understand why people find it so difficult. That's just me. To me it's simple.

Yeah I inadvertently spelt puerile wrong in a hurry ( earlier this week I also spelt 'sesquipedalian' wrong: care to castigate me for that too ? ) and overlooked a full stop because I was using an infernal PDA with its little accompanying plastic stick.... which is difficult for me, in my defence, owing to my particular inexperience. I apologise. (Or is it 'apologize' and 'defense' thanks to the creeping Americanisation into our language)

Rather than "stupid" for not correctly using the quote (should the word not be 'quotation' incidentally ?) function, again it is my inexperience on its particular usage, with an inability to apply too much importance to it really. Again I apologise to all those it offends.
