At least it's a good money story, not only from Salford's point of view but also from a RL point of view. As people have said there needs to be sustainability in the long term planning but this should allow Salford to challenge fot the playoffs, which is an improvement on present.

Dr Koukash is based mainly in Dubai as is most of his business portfolio, this is why people cannot access his business accounts or find out his true wealth.

Dubai's financial woes are hardly a secret. The gravy train has moved on to Abu Dhabi and Qatar now. To the extent that a lot of the big flagship building projects in Dubai are now in the hands of capitalists from other emirates.

I have no idea whether Dr Koukhash is minted or not, and I suspect he has plenty of his own cash banked outside his businesses, but a conspiracy tends to mean a group of people colluding to conceal the truth. None of that to see here.

That's the difference between businessmen and normal folk. There's means and ways of maximising profits and minimising outgoings.

He bought sold swapped changed more business models and projects than I've had hot dinners! That's how you create a business portfolio, at the end of the day he owns a multimillion pound hotel and restraunt no matter how he got it.

Ever heard of Mike Ashley? Owner of sports line retailers sports and soccer or is it sports world? No it's sports direct now isn't it? All the same company just different names, but on record it'll show he's gone into admin numerous times when really he's using a ghost company transferring max profits and assets from his other company that supposedly shutting down, that way he bypasses creditors then opens up as another completely new company/ new shop.

This technique is used by businessmen all over the world.

There is an element of buying success in most sports, but if Salford want sustainable long term success they need to invest in the youth as well as their first team. Also some how get the people of Manchester to watch them play. It's a tough ask but the doc seems to be a confident man.

Pretty ruthless. Makes you wonder what he'd do should a newly-acquired business continue to make heavy losses. Same as another sports business giant, David Lloyd, I suspect.
