Yeah it's fully understandable Jim, just gutted don't get to see us with a full squad and great young talent like Gannon and Ward previously fulfill their undoubted potential. Gannon i think has the potential to be very very good. Finger crossed for him.

I do wonder if we can bring someone in from somewhere (in the pack).. any rough diamonds out there in the championship perhaps.

How old were the likes of Havard, Hill, Nesemba at Wigan and others such as Holroyd at Warrington and Delaney at Saints?
Each one of them already decent prospects yet we seem to suffer more than others.
Is it because they were exposed to the first team too soon or we have been unlucky?

Exactly this I don't think luck in preparation of young players pathways is thing its the conditioning and then ultimately the head coach making a decision as to whether the player is deemed ready for selection we seem to be not as professional as our peers.

Could it be that we play in a less structured manner when compared to likes of Wigan and Saints who seem very adapt at integrating younger players into their systems.

Think it’s just a brutal sport, where one bad collision can wreck lives.

Not really - Huddersfield are in good form and we aren't. We've gained Fus and Sangare, but lost Handley on the other side and then Holroyd. Honestly can't remember the last time we had our best potential side out on the field together.

My thing is errors as we know - if we want to go into this game dropping the ball etc. again then we'll lose. If we play tight I expect us to win.

We need to get back to completing high and getting to a good attacking kick at the end of sets, which we were moderately good at earlier in the season I felt.

I’ve not seen a Huddersfield game this season, so don’t really know if we are favourites or not. What I can see is they have put a few teams to the sword , including Catalans. We haven’t smashed anyone and have scored a lot less points than Udders, so on that basis my money would go on them. My worry is that having a couple of weeks on the training ground will have been no use to us whatsoever, because we have a coach who may not have used that valuable time in the most productive way. I am curious rather than eagerly anticipating this game, just to see how we compete against a fellow Tier 2 Superleague team. It’s quite sad saying that at this stage of the season, but probably just realistic.

Leeds beating any team does not surprise me but generally it will result in a loss the following week. We are extremely inconsistent.

Every year we talk about turning Headingley into a fortress, but again we seem to lose far too many home games - three on the bounce now. We really need to be winning games like this one if we're to have a chance of top four.

The Giants pack play aggressive in attack and D and Cudjoe at 13 is in the form of his life if we don't match them at least it could be a tough night.

No. But Leeds always seem to be able to pull a performance out of thin air against form teams so who knows?

Hopefully we see a change in attitude and approach. Forwards hitting the line hard getting over the gain line and defence moving up quickly together not giving up cheap yards. No trick plays in own half and a strong completion rate and at least 50% territory in the game with some structure to our attack when we are in the opposition 20 and have earned the right to play!
If we deliver that and get beat I am happy and you have to say well played Huddersfield!

Hope Jake Connor plays, on his day a brilliant footballer. Whatever he does is always entertaining one way or another. Amused to see him at Hull the other week wanting a confrontation with Sao. Not a very wise thing to undertake.

If we harbor top 4 hopes (which we should do given the recruitment drive and by GH's own admission in pre season) then tonight needs to be a game we win, even at this early-ish stage because of the back to back losses.

Definitely, we need to get on top right from the kick off. Certain players who haven’t performed this season need to stand up and be counted. I think we will win.
