Be interesting to see what sort of side he picks. I said last week he went conservative. The squad had Sinfield and Hooley and I reckon he was going to pick one or both of them, but then started to worry about losing and went for the experienced players - who failed again. Now he's stuck, as he didn't give them a run out and this is an even more high pressure game. I think he'll go as close as he can to players in their natural positions at least, and I wouldn't be surprised if both miss out again (although he may go with Sinfield for Johnson on the bench?).

The answer is in the terminology. I’m a ‘supporter’ which means that’s what I’ll do, whether winning Grand Finals or fighting relegation. Getting angry about it doesn’t really help anyone. It doesn’t actually make that much difference to my personal life, what the outcome is per season. There’s enough enjoyment there……

losing in extra time to saints while depleted was a great watch.
rolling over time and again to awful sides while using ridiculous ractics is not enjoyable no matter how you dress it up.

Agree Tad. The vast majority of fans are peed off with the club in recent years and it's more of the same this year so it's fair enough the anger imo.

However, we all want the club to do well and there's no right or wrong way to feel in situations like this, we are all different and we are all proper fans some of us for longer than we care to remember.

I dont enjoy when we play crap, but it doesnt make me hate the coach, the owner and the players like it does you and many others.

? i don't hate the coach, owner and players. It is what it is. It's just not good enough and needs to improve and everyone at the club needs to do better.. the coach needs to start improving the product on the field first and with this squad we should be in the play off positions.

I just think its frustration TBH. We really did have everything correct at the club after years of climbing and were class leading.
Bit by bit weve fallen behind and instead of actually sorting the problems weve just tinkered round the edges, done stuff on the cheap and hired people who were not the correct fit or calibre to continually push the club forward.

I will support the club thick or thin (it was mighty thin growing up in the 80's) but that doesnt mean Im going to believe every utterance from the club regarding "Spirit of the Rhinos / Rhinos DNA" or any other marketing guff they come up with to mollify people, rugby league is a results business and we are not performing anywhere near an acceptable level for the resources being deployed.

In these times I always come back to this seminal quote from the great man himself.

I can accept losses, its sport, poop happens it'd be boring if we won at a canter every week. What I cant accept not trying and therein lies the crux of the conversation. We know how good we can be (weve seen flashes this season even!) but there's something just not right at the moment in my opinion.

I hate losing to any Lancashire team but are understandable given there better teams all round what I can't stomach is being pumped by a team that hasn't won a game all season that's just shambolic for a Rhinos side from top of the club to the bottom if that is acceptable then we're in a bad way!
