Honestly were beyond a laughing stock at the minute. Somebody, anybody, please make this nightmare end!

I am uncomfortable with mocking JJB. It's not his fault the club is where it is and I like the way he talks, what he says and the way he says it.

He and long should have resigned. It would have been less of a shirt storm to hire agar two assistants on short term contracts and then had some sort of measured handover to a new boss. I'm disappointed neither saw fit to.
That said, although I've made a couple of mocking comments, I'm gonna knock it on the head. What he's given the club far outweighs the bad imo.

JJB/Long is a difficult one. Unless we wanted Walker to be head coach they were the only viable choices. Its pretty unlikely a new coach will bring an entire set of assistants on day one, so they'll probably stay at least to the end of the season. But the new coach must have the power to get rid of them and bring his own people in if he sees fit at the end of the year. They need to prove themselves along with a heap of the players.

Quality - Freudian slip!!

He has been a big part of this club for many years - his opinions seem to be well regarded by GH - so he must shoulder his blame of the clusterf**k that is the current situation. We have a media manager who should be managing this better than he is - but like every other senior person at Headingley they have zero experience outside of the club and that really shows.

In the latest Presser Jamie is very restrained. He bigs the players up but wonder if it’s a bit too much at times. He described Newman as ‘absolutely world class’. I’m not sure that’s true just yet, and I also don’t think it’s the right way to get the most out of players……..

He spoke quite well in this weeks presser but i notice it was only 13 mins and not the usual 28 somaybe the media dept was told to edit out the piffle, waffle and religious talk.

He has his own view of things , that’s for sure. He reminds me of someone who walks around with headphones on, listening to positivity podcasts constantly!

Apparently the 28 minute ones had already been trimmed to edit all the religious waffle!

Thought he was very rude about Jack Broadbent though. Was directly asked about Jack and went onto a waffle about Kev and his son as usual. We’ve heard it all before and wearing bit thin to be honest….

No i think you’re confused when he was talking about Jack Sinfield he was directly asked about Jack Sinfield.

He’d already answered the questions about Jack Broadbent.

JJB says "our discipline isnt indoctrinated into our muscle memory and we arent forming atomic habits just yet" and im sure the players all agree.

He did answer the question but glossed over it and then started taking about Mellor and Simpson but listening again agree he was also asked about Sinfield, so yeah

I think Broadbent seems to have burned his bridges for whatever reason.

We are coming up with some atomic brain explosions on a pretty regular basis.

Possibly a lack of talent at this level too by sound though…..
