With all the injuries, Lopsided fixture lists etc ive kind of given up with this year and will just enjoy the games for what they are rather than worrying about playoffs or doing anything if we get in them.

Why would you pick a player in the 21 to be then ruled out for the year a couple of days later.

Thompson has the squad number 20 remember he’s not one of our first choice starting players, he’s a reasonable squad player to have, it’d be tough to replace him with someone better as a back up player. Best to get behind the team and all the players IMO.

We might not be planning on using the full salary cap due to the last 2 years of losses due to covid, but I'd love to see an NFL style overthecap detailing figures. IMO under normal circumstances, you shouldn't be wasting overseas spots on squad depth.

When you’ve played 15 lost 15 there isn’t much to be cocky about. There’s nothing controversial expecting Leeds to win this game by a large comfortable margin, as I’m sure you did in the Championship when you faced the side sitting at the bottom of the table.

Thompson will be covering at prop, Walters, O’Connor and Gannon are good prospects but they’re not better options than him, they don’t have his size, strength and physical presence.

If Oledski, Prior, Holroyd, Tetevano and Vuniyayawa were all fit and available for selection I wouldn’t expect Thompson to play. I’m not sure we’ve had a single fixture yet with all of those available.

Vuniyayawa hasn't done enough to be extended, unless we need someone cheap. He's been concussed twice.
