Yeah same I’ve rated Levi very highly, he has an all-round game.

Suspect the club feel they need more cover at centre than back row for the foreseeable but I also like him in the back row. He can link other players in as well as finish and can also defend.

I need to get to some games this year (family and work permitting) feel so out of touch with those coming through having been in the middle of it all for so many years. Sounds like there’s some talent to back up those making the step up now, longing for a pivot to make the break.

Halves and 9s are trouble areas for all teams at that level Seth.

Yeah its certainly an issue that persists. From my experience I genuinely think theres an issue with over coaching and stifling natural ability for those positions. A great deal is very prescriptive and not very player centred, this sounds odd out of context but I'm not a fan of coaching points being the start point for developing players, it's not my method anyway.

U17s away to Hull on Wednesday.

Watched the highlights, Levi looks incredibly explosive, quick as well but can really motor from the first step. I can imagine he would offer something a little different in the back row with that skill set. Somebody running good lines with real pace and power can be devastating. I thought generally the 19s looked impressive

By all accounts it was a terrible London team but 54-0 is emphatic enough.

Under 19s wont test Levi and Gannon this year but there is not much alternative

Difficult to read much into short highlights but note the nice couple of passes Levi put Tindall away with. Maybe centre will be his position given the strength in our back row.

Agree re. the challenge but two outstanding talents there. Couple of other handy players too.

Doing a sports degree at uni too which is good to hear. I know he was pretty depressed for a while so it's nice to know he's found a path

Some poor rugby and low skill level on display unfortunately, very one dimensional and panicking in good ball not unlike the first team. Physical displays from Tindall, edwards and Hall.

I was at the game 2nite. Have to agree with Seth basic skill level awful.

Corey Hall ran ok, Mayhew worked hard, thought Max Simpson did some good things.

Last tackle plays attrocious, playing with no real half backs, terrible passing and too many errors.

Seth i know what you mean about Tindall carrying strongly but the kid cant defend and is showing no improvement in that area. Hes a powerful lad but he has to improve to have any chance.

Yes not the best. We looked the better side on an individual basis but couldn’t string much together.

Max Simpson looked great, impressed with him. Ben Mayhew was industrious. Tom Nicholson-Watton is solid.

Physical displays from the three Seth mentioned but they need to stop trying to run through entire teams on their own every carry.

Tindall is a shambles defensively, especially from kicks.
