I reckon you're right. Rightly or wrongly we seem in no rush to sign a blockbuster who can only do short stints.

Just read that, I reckon he'll play at prop for us, could be a great move, then again he might turn out to be rubbish, that's the beauty of this deal IMO good bit of business by the club again.

If he's going to play prop this puts him in contention to take the place of Cuthbertson long term. It may also reflect on the Crosby situation.

Very good piece of business for me. When Savelio and Greenwood were at Saints thought we had the England back row for next 10 years.
Greenwood suffered a bad concussion last season, then lack of form/ confidence. Don't think Wigan is the most supportive club in that regard either. Agar seems to have a much more personable approach so may be just what Greenwood needs. Definitely won't be used as a prop though. Interchange second row, who'll get a few handy tries. I really hope he impressed and we make this a permanent signing.........

Agar has said he will be used as a middle so think he will be used as an interchange prop but can also be uses aa a 2nd row

Think I remember him having some concussions and complaining that he was still getting dizzy spells and didn't feel well enough to play. Wigan disagreed and wanted him on the pitch leading to a bit of a fallout.

If Agars sat enough to try and turn him into a prop he'll be back at Wigan after 2/12.

If he can get back to his pre-NRL form hes better than Martin if it doesnt work at prop he can move back to 2nd row. Like people say thats the beauty of loaning him to try before we buy.

Generally prop x2, hooker and loose forward are your middle 4. He won’t be playing hooker.

And if it all works out maybe we can swap him with L.Sutcliffe.

Do not need him on loan to know he is garbage , once again shows up our lack of young forwards coming through due to poor coaching . This bloke has a heart as big as a pea and it must be 3 years ago when he last had a good game . To mention him in the same sentence as Peacock is like comparing Hitler and Churchill . Yet another cast of , we spend time getting rid of rubbish just to sign more rubbish

We know from experience that good players dont always fit at new clubs (Tubi Lolihea as an example) and go on to have good careers at other clubs.
Give the guy a chance to step onto the feild first before slating him. It's only an 8 week loan for now, if it doesnt work then nothing lost

The fact is we keep signing players who are not good enough , where are all our up and coming youngsters ?
