| Well done to them. They have done so well they deserve their own website and twitter feed.
No other SL team gives their womens team the coverage and exposure Leeds do. Its almost as though Leeds have been using it to mask the poor season the 1st team have had.
Im pleased they are playing and pleased the womens game is growing like it is. It will help clubs secure grants and lottery funding for various things but Christ our website is now more about the amateur womens team than it is the professional mens team.

| Fantastic effort and result, especially to come from behind in a major final. Two cracking tries from Goldthorp in particular.
Marty - couldn't disagree more - they all Leeds Rhinos, it doesn't make any sense for marketing to be fragmented in the way you describe. It's all for the greater good of the game.

Well he's certainly not Garry's ghost writer. I expect Garry's Ghost Journo to come up with a bit of damage control in his his column on Monday

Looking at the Cas website they dont. Its hardly mentioned. We have more articles on womens team than our mens. Its madness.

| Congratulations to the Womens' team. Great result some real resilience very similar to the Golden Generation when you knew we could always turn a result around. Our womens' team demonstrated that they have confidence in each other to keep digging in and get a result. the powers that be need to provide some function to celebrate their achiievements this season. Would like to see more games at HQ prior to a SL game. Or should we now be saying the SL team could play as a cutain raiser to the WSL games. Currently the women are more entertaining than the mens' team. Well done ladies!!

Absolutely, if it attracts people (boys, girls, men, women) to the game, whether that is to play or watch, or from a corporate point of view it has to be a good thing for the game as a whole and the Rhinos in particular. It would make no sense to separate them from the men's teams.
Women's sport as a whole is flying at the moment, RL, football, cricket, netball, it has to be good for the respective sports futures, and importantly getting kids away from their phones / ipads and participating.

| I thought they were outstanding from 1-17 & the resolve they showed after going 8 nil down & off the back of errors & a p!$h ref was a credit to them & the Club.
Lets not also forget the likes of Beevers & Goldthorpe are still kids they were missing their capt in Louis Forssell & still came from behind to get the deserved win.
I thought Hill was Excellent but Butcher was top class as her HB partner & Oldroyd off the bench smashed anything & everything in Cas colours.
Lumb reminded me of Francis Meli & Hill destroyed her with her superb kicking game.
Would have loved it to have been played over here but hopefully they get a lap of honour on Boxing day & the first home SL game of 2020.
I also think they deserve much more credit & exposure as a Team & for RL they are shining the light on Womens RL & deserve all their plaudits & more.

| I think itās great the womenās team and the womenās game is getting more exposure. Any exposure for RL is good and itās surely a way of getting lots more people participating and more closely tied to the sport including sponsors and commercial partners.
It was great to see the commitment, effort and passion from both sides in the game.
However I donāt think we should go overboard on labelling it as high skill levels. Itās not currently. Thatās not being denigrating to the women, not at all, theyāre amateurs. However we shouldnāt patronise them either by pretending the skill level is higher than it currently is. Comments such as theyāre the best kicker in the club and the club could learn from them are frankly nonsense. Itās akin to a fan muttering āI can do better than thatā at a game but actually meaning it. Thereās nothing at all wrong with the skill levels being where they are because theyāre amateur but that doesnāt mean theyāre high. With the increased focus and effort from clubs and the sport as a whole Iām sure the quality will quickly increase.
Again this is not criticism of the womenās game or of any of the players, itās just Iāve seen lots of comments on here and on social media saying how high the quality is and I disagree on that. Itās high for amateur players, itās not high full stop.

The same can be said currently for the mens SL.
