Just stop the constant bickering between the same 2 or 3 posters. It's boring as fuk to be honest, the majority of threads end up being derailed by them.

It happens on all boards,it makes things interesting and avoids the norm.The norm being pi$$ boring at times.If you want boredom there are plenty libraries around,go grab a membership.

It's a forum and everyone is entitled to an opinion.You either agree with the opinion or post against it.Just because you post something doesn't make it right,its your opinion.But be willing to retreat when your wrong is another thing.

Actually its duller than a library when you get two posters writing ever-lengthening posts to each other (often with page long cut and paste quotes), knowing full well that regardless of their argument all they'll get back is more of the same. Everyone does it a bit, but some people just seem to be unable to stop. Its like two people with Tourettes arguing, only without any interesting tics or colourful language for us bystanders.

I'd hazard a guess that the reason some posters have left (or no longer post as often here) is more to do with the season that's just taken place, the poor standard of rugby league on offer and the fact that Leeds season was effectively all over just after Easter and the CC exit which followed soon after.

Where's the motivation to read the forums (never mind contribute) during such a miserable season of tripe that's been served up? Fans are just bored and there's been next to nothing to discuss or get excited about.

It's utter nonsense that a load of posters have disappeared simply because a handful of posters have been bickering among themselves.

So if I'm having an 'argument' with for example Smokey or Sal.....how does this prevent these "decent posters" from posting something on that thread that is still on topic but away from the aforementioned "argument"?

Truth is nothing is stopping anybody from posting. If they want to read and reply to what "decent posters" have posted away from us "argumentative posters" they can but apparently having to scroll down a computer/phone screen and clicking on 'next' or 'previous' page is some sort of Herculean task that they're digits just can't cope with.

I'll just repeat what I have said previously.

Strong opinions are welcome.

Turning every thread into a two / three person echo chamber slanging match are not.

You guys have some of the most polarising posts on here, this sparks discussion which is good.

You guys also have a tendency to go on page long quoting sessions which often descend into insults and back biting, this is bad.

No one on here isn't guilty of being a little forthright at points during a season especially when passions become inflamed.

All I ask for is for a little less of the bad and more of the good.

The two who are known for arguing with each other do post some interesting stuff individually , but they just seem to wind each other up .One post's an opinion and the other jumps in and then it starts

This forum doesn't need a mod as, bar the same few posters posting the same drivel every single day, it's pretty much dead and has been for several years. I used to spend hours on RLfans every week, occasionally posting but mostly reading threads across the whole network. I probably spend 20 minutes a week on here these days, if that.

The professional game in this country is in the doldrums, Leeds RL are in the doldrums (worse still they appear unable or unwilling to address the decline), this board accurately reflects the state of the game and the club.

I don't think we've got here as a result of the moderation/non-moderation process on this board and I have doubts anything will change until the club rediscovers its mojo.

With new Mods on the case I hope we see the return of some posters that haven’t been seen in a while. Idiot Amin, I’m not Ray Cyst and Benji Marshall’s Pubes are sorely missed.

I think they are all still sulking over Brexit and have decided to abandon working class northerners along with their sports
