Quote="Sal Paradise"Kevin Sinfield has got where he is more through a hell of a lot of hard work, considerable sacrifice, a huge amount of natural talent and the ability at an interview to convince someone to give him a job than being white and straight - Amirite?
Not sure how coming from Oldham is such a privilege
more a burden I would say'"
Jeez, some subtle nuances really do get lost in translation in none face to face communication.
It wasn't unexpected that a few of the usual moronic suspects on this forum should show up to make more moronic contributions.
Key employees of the RFL are bullies. One of them is a homophobic bully. That's the established culture at the RFL and it's all being swept under the carpet and refereeing personnel have departed and/or have been pushed out in order to protect the bullies and the homophobes. Meanwhile, the bullies and homophobes remain in secure employment at Red Hall to carry on bullying and being homophobic.
That this toxic culture at the RFL is allowed to continue unaddressed in order to protect certain individuals is indicative of an organisation that is not fit for the purpose.
It surprises me NOT that so few of the RL fanbase demographic don't even see a sport which tolerates this level of bullying, harassment and homophobia as an issue which requires stamping out and the perpetrators sacked.
And Sinfield is going to work for an organisation like that?
Not a very impressive beginning to his post playing career.
Whatever Jon Sharp did/say it must have been very seriously bad. If his cronies could not protect him and he was forced to leave.
What is really pathetic is that he was paid off - bonkers give he was leaving for gross misconduct!!
The fact Featherstone have employed such a bully says much about them and it must call into question why Leeds allow young players to be coached by somebody who is known to have questionable behaviour traits?
