Re Monagahan I find it hard to believe that the Wolves are stronger without him but then I don't see them/him every week.
A fully fit Ratchord has to be a bonus for them.

I expect it to be the 13 who started last week with Burrow, Leuluai, Delaney & Singleton on the bench.

No Golding in the under 19s game vs Bradford tomorrow so maybe he's been given a game on Friday.

The fact he's in for Sutcliffe gives the impression he might get a good half hour if we're winning easy, but Warrington away isn't going to be that sort of game. Why play him at full back all pre-season if you were going to do that? Maybe he's just done enough in training and reserves to be in the pecking order ahead of Sutcliffe and McDermott wants to keep him involved in the first team. Either that or Zak's got the jiffy squits.

As good a prospect as Golding is I think it is a risk playing him away to Warrington.
Either they are giving him match day experience or Zak is carrying a knock.
Likewise I hope Delaney has got in due to an injury to Achurch who has played well so far.
Delaney may need a couple more games at Hunslet first before making the 17.
Also was hoping Monaghan played as he has been poor from what I have seen this season.

Achurch did pick up a leg injury at Hull, as well as a few other strains and pulls he's had for a few weeks according to McDermott so nothing untowards there. The inclusion of Golding we'll have to wait and see.

Laithwaite is getting better each week and is a very underrated player. Westwood has been going off from loose forward mainly when we play with both of our 9s on the pitch

Well you don't watch him every week so i'll let you off with that comment.

Laithwaite is an absolute monster in defence, granted nothing flash in attack but he's easily our best defensive player...by some way too.

Agreed about Laithwaite, what i have seen of Wire this season he looks to have come on a fair bit and looks like he belongs rather than just a young player getting some game time.

Come Saturday, there'll be a few sore noses and jaws in the camp if our lot try wrong-footing westwood in the same way they did the FC defence.

Achurch seems to be constantly injured - is he just softer than the other players incapable of playing through niggly injures?

It seems that way.And he always appears to break down just when he is coming into some good form

Meh, If he's carrying a niggle / pull etc I'd rather him get treatment on it now, than potentially playing on and making it worse.

Nothing to say he didnt put his hand up for selection or that he couldnt play, just makes sense this early in the season to get it sorted. Nothing worse than him aggravating something mid match and were down on interchanges.
