Its not the end though is it Bang , season ticket holders will be lost , occasional paying punters will be lost and oh just a thing about pride for those of us who have to listen to our workmates from Bradford going on about it for god knows how long . The other downside of course is a probable away semi in the play offs

I wasn't using the term leader for captain, don't worry.

There were plenty of players out there putting in the grunt and effort, they do not turn up and think oh well its raining and it's only Bradford so lets all toss it of for 80 minutes and then go to the pub.

The ball handling and conditions were poor not the worst ever by far. Our coach and senior players should have adapted their tactics a dam sight better then they did. It's boring but what is wrong in kicking the ball into the opposition 20 on the 2 or 3 tackle and making them bring it out into our defense. Force them into the errors in their 20 and then look to punish it. The lack of grubber kicks was amazing in the conditions. Also with the defense coming up "SO QUICK" why don't we ever use the chip kick, even if it does not work, so what it keeps the defenders wondering about the next set.

Over all this year we have had some entertaining games at Headingley and I for one will be renewing my season tickets. If you think we are playing crap then just cast your mind back to the mid 90's.

I disagree! When players are walking to scrums and taps within the first 10 minutes, that's a clear indication of the mindset they've come into the game with. No urgency, no intensity and no fight.

Whilst I agree that no player will have walked out there wanting to lose or toss it off, if you've not prepared physically and mentally for a good, hard, high intensity game, you'll turn out a flat performance like that.

It wouldn't be so bad if this had been the only time this year we've handled the ball so poorly & looked so bereft of ideas in attack.
For goodness sake The Bulls had more idea in attack than we did.

People have been saying for a few years now that the supporters will stop buying the season tickets and fans will stop attending matches........it's not happened though has it. We still remain at a constant level with attendances.

If you do a bit of research our crowds have dropped in the past IF the Club take their eye off the ball it will happen again and it would be foolish to think otherwise.

So, answer his question, when did that happen and what did you mean?

The same thing mentioned by numerous people in numerous posts. Watch the game, and you won't need someone else to tell you.

Such posts as this just prove how arrogant, one eyed, negative, ignorant, and juvenile some so-called "supporters" really are.




They conveniently forget or simply over look the fact that there are always 2 teams on the pitch and that in a restaurant there isnt a team from another restaurant trying to p!ss on the chefs chips or knock my meal out of the waitress hands all the time they are trying to serve me.

What's arrogant or juvenile about being able to identify when the team have entered a game with the wrong mindset? Or are you saying the team didn't turn up with the wrong mindset? If so, I'd like to know what evidence you saw on Friday of a team putting their all in and mentally prepared for a battle. Or, is it that we're not supposed to talk about any poor performance/attitude from our team?

As for there being another team on the park, as I said earlier, despite Leeds poor attitude, they still weren't played off the park, although Bradford certainly wanted and deserved the win more on the night. However, Leeds turning up with the attitude they did to that game wasn't brought about because of how Bradford played on the night - as I've said earlier, it was evident right from the off.

Spot on and the other team could and should have been top of the League on Friday night.
Not sure if it is attitude or performance that has resulted in the result or both maybe.
Maybe next time the players should let the supporter`s know how they feel before the game and we could have stayed at home and watched a decent game on SKY or better still Corrie.

I don't really recall many saying afterwards they were glad we aimed for the 2 league points and how important it could be to our final playoff position. More the case of we should've rested guys for the more important game. We also won comfortably yet the 'confidence' from that win didn't show up in our showing against Hudds the following week. We also got battered by Hudds 48-24 in the last game of the 2012 regular season (and they played most of the game with 12 men).....we then put in arguably the best playoff showing by any team.

I am sure we would, if you were actually comparing like for like. You are comparing apples with pebbles though it seems. Did we have a run of poor performances before either of those losses you talk of?

It was nothing to do with attitude. The players were trying but we were just set-up all wrong. We are an extremely good side on personnel, very very good first choice 17. However that very talented set of players are very poorly coached. Luke Robinson said during the commentary[i "Leeds don't play with any structure, but with the players they have that is what makes them so dangerous[/i". Thats all well and good when we have a fully fit energetic first choice 17 on the pitch. But when you then put a Loose Forward/Half and a 2nd rower both playing at centre and and have 6 others missing, taking out all the flair and glamour, we struggle big time. Its just a big shambles and that showed, its not difficult to understand. Throw in Kirke and Achurch puddings too, and well...you get beaten by possibly the poorest side I have seen Leeds lose against...

Admittedly he should not be lacking in confidence on the left especially after playing most of his career there...BUT why switch him to the left? BJB is the 'back up' and [ihas[/i played on the left...so again...why??

It is the coach that should be 'dropped' for the next match.
