Been looking forward to seeing Minichella playing for the first team, not too sure about Mulhern but it'll be interesting to see how he copes.

| I think the 19 selected is right, and from that 19 would go;
1 Zak Hardaker
2 Ben Jones-Bishop
3 Kallum Watkins
20 Tom Briscoe
5 Ryan Hall
6 Danny McGuire
7 Rob Burrow
8 Kylie Leuluai
9 Paul Aiton
16 Ryan Bailey
11 Jamie Jones-Buchanan
12 Carl Ablett
14 Stevie Ward
17 Ian Kirke
19 Mitch Achurch
23 Brad Singleton
27 Rob Mulhern
Though I suspect that Sinfield will play 6 and Burrow to the bench at the expense of either Achurch/Clarkson.

| Pete Smith says Sinfield's being rested, so if Ward's in the centre maybe this does mean we'll see Hardaker at 6.

Who?
Hall was tremendous tonight, because he's a tremendous player. Without doubt the best wing I have seen pull on a Leeds shirt, with the posdible exception of Grothe. But he barely counts with less than 20 games for us.
Consistently outstanding.

Tremendous (adjective)
very great in amount, scale, or intensity.
synonyms: very great, huge, enormous, immense, colossal, massive, prodigious, stupendous, monumental, mammoth, vast, gigantic, giant, mighty, epic, monstrous, titanic, cosmic, towering, king-sized, king-size, gargantuan,
Which is kind of what William's being telling us all along
On a serious note, I'd go along with your views on Hall.

Tremendous? He scored three tries, one that others probably wouldn't have scored, and he made three other excellent runs. Defensively he was like a child yet again, very poor, and his handling of defensive kicks are completely opposite to attacking ones, in that he gets it so wrong.
Even against such a poor side, Hardaker and Watkins show us again just how much classier these two are to others and would be extremely difficult to replace. Any club owner with any sense would be begging to these players right now to ensure they are long term.
Was pleasantly surprised with Mulhern, looked strong defensively, which is the first thing to get right.

Apart from one contested Bomb that they knocked on anyway how many others did he get so wrong and in what way was he defending like a child??

He didn't and he wasn't. But you know, facts and reality have to be altered to fit the agenda don't they.

| Just watching the game back and the one stand-out Leeds player (for all the wrong reasons) was Stevie Ward.
I know it was his first run-out at centre but his handling and decision making last night was awful. I really like Ward and think his a legend in the making but things just weren’t happening for him last night. I’m sure it was just a one-off but he can’t afford too many performance of that quality and expect to keep a shirt.

Agree with that. Whatever he tried just didn't work, all his instincts were wrong.

| i thought hall was very good. fair enough it was poor opposition but so what? you play whats in front of you.
mcguire and burrow were excellent. people who say they don't have a kicking game should watch the re run. there kicking was supurb, both long and short.
burrow looked so at home at 7 and is obviously happier there.

I'm 100% serious i was at the game and have since watched it again that's why i asked.
I do agree that Watkins and Hardaker are top Class and their long term retention should be a priority aswell but back to Hall isnt scoring trys part of the "Whole" performance?
FB/Him
Whilst i agree that Ward isnt a centre he showed some crisp handling for Halls 1st try ,held his composure when isolated after a clean break to await support and put in a sublime offload back inside for Hall when getting forced into touch on another attacking set so not all bad.

Sure it's part of it, and as I said one of his try's others likely wouldn't of scored. But when you are so good attacking kicks, why be so poor defending them. It wasn't only high ones either, the two efforts attempting to trap on the floor also were quite weak.
Attacking wise was excellent. Defending wise was poor. That doesn't equate to tremendous, that was the point.

In all honesty I didn't think your lads disgraced themselves. I'd give them credit for not chucking in the towel. Contrast that with some of catalans recent performances for example.

If you're saying the good far outweighed the bad then I'd agree. Haven't watched the game back yet but I don't remember too many defensive howlers. As a general point, I doubt defending bombs is ever going to be his strongest suit, given his build. But that build helps him score tries like the one you refer to, lends punch to his carries out of defence and enables him to break tackles in open play.
