| Not too bothered so long as it's a decent game, there have been too few this season.
If pushed I'd say Warrington as the Wigan bandwagon has got on my tits since 1985.

| Warrington without a doubt. Pushed the boat out to get it over last few years, and will be good to see a new name.
Never Wigan. There're history is tainted from all the cheating they did late 80's early 90's, and would like it to stay the later years of them being nobody's really.

| LOL From this cringeworthy thread, it won't be hard to guess what you whino's fans will be drinking during the game on Saturday... A pint of "Bitter!" to wash down the pie you've been choking on since 85!

| Wire, because their fans a couple of years ago, when they lost in the semi to Sinfield's kick, shook my hand and were gracious enough to wish us good luck in the GF. They even said the best team won, whereas the Wigan fans were just arrogant and in your face last week. Turning round and clapping under your nose when they did something well or when we cocked up!

| Wire for me no contest a great club good fans players and coach, they deserve it, I can't stand Wigan fans, not all but most of them arrogant like there coach, love to see winger Sam sent packing off to NZ with a losers medal, I am sick to death of the sky Sam Tompkins media circus ! If Wigan do win I will give them the credit they deserve, but the challenge cup, what, my local amateur team would have won the challenge cup with that draw and Hull submission in the final, looking forward to next season with the pressure off us I think we will win back our crown !!!!!!

Did you consider reading the thread before posting this?
I don't drink a lot these days. There's a bottle of decent cider in the cupboard (new Orchard Pig one) so I might have that on Saturday night. Not until after the little one is in bed though, so not during the game.
I hope you find this information helpful and feel somewhat reassured.
Oh, and if it helps further, Bullseye and tigertot aren't "Whinos" fans.

| I'd like to see Warrington do it, especially for Tony Smith.
The whole Leeds-Wigan thing has calmed down a lot since the rugby gods incident so I wouldn't feel particularly bothered if they won it, especially given their policy of progressing young players which sets a good example to other clubs.

| Shame someone has to win. Either Warrington who have simply bought in a side and don't produce any young players or Wigan, who despite developing many younger players, are still the most hated side in the league.

What do you call bought in a side? Likes of Briers have been there years now, and Carvel. Even Morley has done a few years now.
What about the likes of Riley, Bridge, Grix, Harrison, Wood, and Cooper? I would question your statement that they have "bought in a side".

| Leeds have never bought any players, I mean Kylie that's a typical Leeds council estate name did he play for Queens?
Watkins played for Latchford, forgive me if I'm wrong but that's a Warrington club.
Briscoe your latest academy product?
The legendary Jamie Peacock.... the ex Bradford player
Hardaker is another Leeds academy player too, that's if Featherstone is a Leeds junior side?
So you stopped being silly now?
Harrison, Riley, Cooper, Wood, Briers been here since a teenager,
Also we've had Glenn Riley, Currie, Rhys Evans and Williams, Tyrone Mccarthy, Grix, O'Brien, Dwyer, Laithwaite and Saltonstall.

| It's how you want to interpret it though, all came in young, where's the cut off point for youth development, and they're all closer to the final than McGuire and Sinfield and Burrow.
Plus Leeds is a city, Wigan have 10 times the amatuer teams that Warrington have, you tell me how we compete with Leeds population 751, 485 compared to Warrington 202, 228.?

That's fair comment ,although JP is a Leeds man who comes from the same area as JJB as does the legendary Ryan Bailey.

Why are you quoting Leeds in this regard?
The original comment & comparison was with your opponents on Saturday or are you too thick to understand the basis of the comments & the debate?

| I'm not too thick at all, we have people who slag off the club for circumstances way beyond it's controll, we are told we don't bring enough through yet we have a very small talent pool, if anything I think Wire do well all considering, out academy sides punch way above their weight comparing geographical statistics.
Besides if a Leeds fan is comparing us to Wigan that it is entirely fair to quote the Leeds system for comparison.
I like Leeds, I love their systems of working but you have more natural resources so you are able to make the most of them, we don't have the resources but or import budget is vastly higher than yours so we utilise that resource.
Play to your strengths rather than move the goalposts because you're stronger in a particular area, if Wire had more amateur clubs or 3 and a quarter the times population and sure we could do it the Wigan and Leeds way.

All would make sense apart from your comment about Watkins playing for a Warrington club. Why talk about lack of playing talent in "your area" just after pointing out Leeds seem to go far and wide to recruit young players - actually highlighting one example where you failed to spot or recruit a current international. This would seem to prove that any club can recruit from anywhere and local population is absolutely irrelevant. You are being far too touchy, massively overreacting to a couple of lines from one poster.
I don't give a monkey's where Warrington got their team from. Most of us don't.
