Looks ok to me, once the groundstaff have got a bit of repair work going on it and as the growing season comes around should be fine.
Much of the "£1m investment" was in the underground stuff such as the new drainage and undersoil heating. None of that will have been "ruined" by yesterday's events. |

To summarise what I can see from the thread:
The pitch got muddy while they were playing Union on it.
This inconvenienced the small and inconsequential Union team we ground share with.
It's better now.

It is time for our friends from the public school game to move on. It must be terrible for them to play in an empty ground, I wonder if playing at the South Leeds ground would be better for them. There was a rumour a few years a go when they beat Manchester by a 100 points that they scored more points than people paid to go in. A club which struggles to get a 1000 people to watch, should play in ground that is more suitable. Watched the Eagles play at Sheff Utd ground, terrible to watch in an empty ground.

To be fair they got 2000 at the last game, which is better than most RL second division clubs. |
