Probably the usual slow crawl on the trans-Pennine train, with stops at Dewsbury,
Huddersfield and Stalybridge. As long as you can get on the thing, seats are not really necessary as it's just a bunch of short trips.

As usual a breakfast in Headingley, maybe the taps this year?? followed by a coach over the hill where hopefully the driver will know his way to the car park this year then to a drinking hole yet to be confirmed, last two years its been Bishops blaize. Plenty more room to move compared to the corridor which is the Trafford pub

The normal plan if traffic allows. A nice trip over to Manchester/Salford, go for a couple of drinks in The Crescent (my old uni haunt) then head down to the ground.

Mine too,although i wish it was my 23rd, at least one of us will have a cracking birthday.

I'm lucky as its my local. He has a knack for picking rather attractive barmaids too!

I'm doing my first Grand Final without drink! Driving over for the game early afternoon, then back pretty much straight after. Could be an interesting struggle for my conscience.

I will be missing my first Grand Final that Leeds have played in - a sad day but decisions had to be made.

Barnsley at Elland Road and then watch it on TV for me - have not missed a United game in over six and a half years and want to keep the run going. Just a shame that you are obviously not supposed to support two sporting teams from the same City.

I'm sure that LUFC have played at home on GF day in the past, infact I'm sure they did in 2004 as we passed the ground on the way

Get up to Yeadon late morning, have a coupe of drinks up there and grab some food. Then hop on a big Yellow JB double decker and head to OT at 1. Hopefully the traffic isnt as bad as last yer because my bladder couldnt holdout

They certainly did in 2007 when we made the made dash across the 62 after leaving before the end of the football, never again we said and are sticking to it. We also made the journey from a lunch time kick off at Peterborough in 2008.

Not sure about 2004 but that was before our current run of not missing LUFC - 353 consecutive games and counting stretching back to January 2006 for what it's worth.

They are currently counting the cost of their arrogance with 25,000 2012 Grand Final branded Cherry and White rosettes being currently stashed away with the Chocolate fireguards in a warehouse in Ince.

Wake up to a cool crisp Autumnal morning. Work out my layering system for the day ahead and feast on a hearty breakfast, protein,carbohydrate and fibre in vast amounts. Watch my wife change her clothing 10 or 11 times then head off to Whinmoor to pick my old fella up for a late fitness test on his nackered knee. It's the Grand Final, we'll pump him full of cortisone and head off to Methley to pick my mate up. There may be a few Castleford stragglers out that way so any Cas shirts will receive our best wishes and accompanying hand signals as we leave the enclave. A couple of beers in scumchester before we alight our vehicle and head towards an offy for some strong Polish lager near Old T. Drink said beer "Eric Morecambe" style so as to fool the local plod before we enter the "Theatre of wet dreams" to roar the blue'n'amber onto another Grand Final victory. If there's anything important I've forgot let me know.

Leisurely breakfast with the better half whilst deciding upon number of layers, etc to wear.
Luncheon at HQ with the prawn sandwich brigade.
Coach over to OT.
Watch Sir Kev lead the team to yet another win.
Back to HQ for supper and to meet the champions.
Home to bed around midnight.
