Agreed - initially I thought we were lucky to get away with it but the replays showed it was more of a 50/50 call.

After seeing your forwards of late i doubt this. Some of your forwards look shot. You won the battle outwide against us but our forwards were on top. Unless you are planning on buying 3 props for next year what you have is not as good as Kyle.

I think that was for punching a bloke whilst he layed on top of him which even by leeds standards is difficult to wriggle out of. I found that an odd position to take given Leuluai missed the trip to Les Catalans on Friday as he was suspended after the EPO fracas V Wakefield (Fox received a caution but avoided further punishment despite appearing to instigate the skirmish and throwing some leather of his own - Wakefield bias at the RFL presumably?) and McGuire has already picked up a ban this season for an offence nobody seemed able to remember taking place and Bailey likewise for making contact with a poorly positioned official.

So far from a hands off approach, if anything potential evidence of RFL victimisation of Leeds players.



McGuire had turned his body side-on and the spill possibly occurred in the direction of his own try-line first - difficult to tell precisely but I could understand Thaler's ruling given McGuire had positioned himself to lessen the chances of knocking on from a fumble.
