doesnt matter that amor may only be average, i think he is better than that, but he is still better than a lot of our current forwards. props dont peak till late 20s so he still has time to improve.

who exactly are people expecting to sign in the forwards, quality props are not easy to come by!!

Just over three minutes a game on average is remarkable low .... unless you're Weller Hauraki playing his second spell.

Surely we will take Amor back, while JP and Kylie have been great props for us it doesn't take a genius to work out that apart from the big game they are unable to sustain the effort for long and are being overrun. Mind you after JP efforts last night I think Mc must think he's 25 again (time played). Lets see what the lad has in his engine got to have more than players already mentioned.

Hauraki is what I'd like to call a 'Paul Harkin' signing. The sort of signing we were used to in the late 80's, early 90's. Played a couple of half decent games against us, so we sign him up.
As for Webb, unfortunately this season his negatives have outwieghed his positive contributions (although that could be said for a number of our players). His errors and ridiculous penalties do seen to be a catalyst for the rest of the team to go into 'petulant brat' mode, rather than focussing on the rugby. JJB for all his endeavour is another who at the moment needs to take a look at his performances/stupid penalties and the effect he is having on those around him.

Thats a shame for my plans for Leeds next season.

No finer sight than watching Ali play rugby. I cheered louder for him at the Wakey leeds game at Headingley than I did many of the Leeds player.

Had some luck at Wakefield that he didnt at Leeds regarding his fitness.

Trinity have also done well to get the best out of Tim Smith, and Paul Aiton has looked a good signing too. Think Wakefield as a club have really succeeded under the licencing programme, but thats another matter.

It does seem that the Leeds coaching staff consider Peacock, Kylie, Moore and Kirke [uall[/u offer more long term options than Amor does





Looks like he stays a Wakefield player.

I said in the close season Wakefield get Ali and Amor.......Leeds prefer Kirke and Moore. I was bemused then and nothing has happened to change my mind.

I have other often repeated gripes too
