Yes it does and I'd like to see Chisholm get a start, but to suggest that he (or anyone else for that matter) should be there for the rest of the season on the basis of exactly zero performances is frankly quite ludicrous.

| Griffin was always a good player for Huddersfield and he looked fine at the beginning of the season but has been dicked around and not given proper minutes, rather like Burgess last season. He was our best forward vs. the Wigan pack at the JJB so it's a bit mysterious that he doesn't get to have a go at them at HQ, although maybe all the zip and confidence has been coached out of him by now.

As long as the present owner remains I see no possibility of a change in CEO unless the CEO himself wishes it.
Makes you wonder how much of Leeds' profitability rests on SL performance. My guess is not as much as some 'ordinary fan in the street' might like it to.

I suspect quite a lot is based on Leeds reaching finals and semis in both the SL and CC and WCC competitions.
Season ticket sales also are a reflection of past success. The worry has to be whether the club can sustain those sales and stay as profitable if the success is not repeated. Bradford certainly couldn't!

South Leeds bandwagoners will be first to jump ship, though it would help facilitate the mass exodus to another brand name if another Yorkshire based club became successful instead.
I haven't forgotten the number of Hull shirts being worn round Miggy and Belle Isle during late 70's and early 80's, nor the Bulls shirts circa late 90's and early 00's. Bulls shirts were also popular apparel round Bramley, Stanningley and Pudsey for a while until the Rhinos bandwagon started looking a bit tasty.

Well i wasn't old enough to comment on the 70's and 80's Hull shirts but speaking as someone who has lived his whole life around that area i can tell you your Bradford shirts comment is wrong. Of course you'll tell me i'm wrong even though i lived there all that time because no one knows better than Swiftcorn right. I suspect you saw 1 or 2 people wear one, which you still could to this day like any area of Leeds, and exagerrated to try add weight to your view that everything about the Leeds Rhinos club is rubbish in the hope you'll convince people to dislike the club as much as you do.

| it's time the change the coach and 1/4 of the team, last years run of wins has just papered ovver the cracks - and nothing but issuing new contracts to older forwards is being done. Everyone else is blooding new team members, except use. Singleton did well earlier in the season, and his reward, dropping down a divsion.
Hardaker needs to learn to pass to Hall a little more, he can not continue to try do it himself - its a team game, - whatching too many Schofield video's me thinks

| Having thought about it, I think BM should stick with basically the 17 that got hammered by Wigan. The main reason being I don't think it would be fair to dump a bunch of kids into a side that doesn't seem to give a t*ss. The other reason is simply to challenge the team to do far better.
If we were playing a weaker team I'd shove a few youngsters in there, but I don't think it would help their development to face Warrington ATM.

| Brisbanerhino challenge the team comment,is absolutely correct this is a big test for Brian Mac and he should be asking them if they have any pride in playing for a great club.can he motivate them, he should play the same team then it's up to them.
I still think he should remain as coach, unfortunately his general demeanor at the moment doesn't seem to be inspiring anybody. If things worsen I can see him throwing the towel in.

Although I have to agree with you......asking the kids to step up at this stage is a big ask.
That however, sums up the situation over the last couple of seasons......a reticence to drop/rest first teamers until a point is reached where it becomes too risky to introduce them for fear of dropping even more league points.
If Leeds lose this Friday the next match becomes even more important to win: a coach over anxious about his position is not then going to risk [ihis[/i future on untested kids.
Too late again then this season for the likes of Ambler, Ward, Singleton, D.Smith, Hood, Chisholm etc to establish themselves for the following season.

| So the answer to all our prayers is to bring back Griffin and Kirke.
Well that says it all.
If from what I am hearing that player power is running the club in the shape of JP and Sinfield.
Then we should get rid now IMO.
Didn`t they get rid of McLennan too?
The trouble with this team is that they have become legends in their own right.
And even when they can`t cut it at the highest level anymore they themselves think they are indespensable.
Pretty much like the Leeds Utd team did when the likes of Clough came in.
I`m not saying it is all down to the two players mentioned and both have given their all to the club over the years.
But if GH is so fully behind the coach then it could be the players who think they know best and will ruin the club. Let`s see how they perform on Friday and if we do not win then bring in 3 or 4 of the youngsters like Singleton, Chisholm, Kleinhorst and Ward.
