I just watched the U20 highlights and Chisholm surely deserves a chance soon, he has real pace and a bit of size too. If not in our first team, I'd think we should loan him out to get some first team experience - he looks to have all the raw materials to be a very good winger.

What a difference a few weeks makes. Its not long since some were saying how good we looked at Fullback, and that Webb had better improve. Now its the end of the world that he's not playing.

Smith is still the answer for fullback, should he get an extended run. Although I do accept that Hardacker would be a cracking fullback.

Problem with Webb out is creative side of the game. Webb out, you need a good scrum half and McGuire. Although perhaps Ward could fill that stand off role if Sinfield is willing to move back to 13.

IF this were true, and it meant we were discussing a serious illness or injury, then whether it affects Leeds Rhinos adversely is pretty irrelevant.

That aside, I could say all kinds of good things about his time in a Leeds shirt, but I'll save them until such time (hopefully at least a few months away) as he actually leaves the club.

Well, if it is true, Leeds really need someone with an experienced head in the back-line.

Looking at what we have, this would be an ideal opportunity for Smith who always looked his best in this position. I can't help wondering how much better Smith would have been if we'd let Webb go to Wire all those years ago instead of breaking the salary structure to keep him (all allegedly of course!). Smith could have been England's first choice FB (before the emergence of Tomkins in that position).

If Smith is not the answer I am less convinced by BJB at FB, who looks shaky in the position and generally is best kept on the wing where he can use his pace and footwork to best effect.

If we are going to learn any lessons from what happened to Lee Smith's career I would prefer to keep Hardaker at centre for now. Changing his position to cover injuries every half season can't do his development any favours. In any case, we will just need another centre again. Given the injuries in the back-row the last thing we want to do is move Ablett or Delaney - or God help us - bring back Senior.

If the Bulls do fold and there is some mileage in moving Hardaker to FB (I still think he should stay in the centres) we might want to consider Keith Lulia. More directly Brett Kearney offers a similar skill set to Webb and could do a job as a replacement FB.

I bet Gotcha could knit the fog sufficiently to describe it as something else.

Like I said, he may have, IF the rumour is true.

The rumour is that Webb has been suspended by the club, whether or not it is true remains to be seen. Its just speculation at the moment until he walks back on the pitch, or it is confirmed.
