I was thinking more out of those IMO not quite so certain to be in the first choice 17 (i.e. Bailey, Lleulai, Clarkson, Hauraki, Moore, Griffin) . I tend to think of Delaney as being a forward in the definite first choice 17.

I've heard Leeds are flogging cheap tickets for this game.

I remember a home game against Castleford definitely being on.

Then half hour before kick off, it was no longer definitely on.

In fact, it was off.

Was that roughly 6 or 7 years ago? And we had to play Sunday? I remember walking up to the stadium and 1000's were coming the opposite direction. I knew something wasn't right then

I can't recall the year but 6/7 years ago seems about right.

I do recall GH announcing something along the lines of "The game is definitely on, it must go ahead and must go ahead NOW" or words to that effect. I was already inside the ground studying frost formations and becoming increasingly skeptical by the minute over GH's earlier promises. There were rumours of abandonment at least an hour before someone and something else entirely was blamed for misleading the public and an announcement was made to go home.

I'm pretty sure it was. I think I was stood alongside you and a few of the other regulars at the cricket side when the abandonment was finally announced. We all knew it was coming and were just hanging around for ages waiting for the confirmation. I remember quite a lot of fans being cheesed off because there was a rumour the decision had been taken around 6:30 to abandon the game but they delayed announcing it for at least 45 minutes... opportunistic bar takings and all that!

Speaking of which, haven't all home games in February that weren't on Sky been moved to a Sunday for the last few years?

Nobody seems to fancy Burrow starting at hooker with Mcshane coming from the bench. I'm not sure if Mcshane is an 80 minute man, Mcdermott may suprise us by bringing him on rather than starting with him.
