I thought he had a case as some 'England' caps have really been for a second-string side playing Wales, France etc. whilst the elite are playing for Great Britain against Australia and NZ. However, from the list provided, it seems all Morley's caps were for the genuine national side so I don't have a problem with him having the record on that score. The only anomaly is, as noted by a previous post, the status of the 1997 appearances for GB which aren't counted as test matches by Australia but seemingly are by GB.

I don't really know what he wants to achieve out of all this. More importantly, I don't care. Records are always there to be broken and the irony is he sounds like a broken record.
