| Quote ="WQrriors"Yeh because if sam didnt run to the right side and draw the winger in to tackle him...joel would have found the gap? Dont get me wrong, watching joel slap that bitch down to the ground was a very proud moment. and him making webb and peacock look amateur was special but that wouldnt have happend without sam..I just hope he destroys the aussies and maybe one day other fans will apreciate how special he is and how he will be the greatest player the SL has produced in the last couple of years..not like you can say it about any other player recently yet you lot prefare to boo him.
"and the reflex action that goes with it" LOL He's a cheat, everyone knows he is, what he did was worse than anything sam as ever done, Seen so many other fans agree with me (not all from Wigan) Not Wigans fault sam will end up tearing you apart!!
Watching him run rings around Warrington was special..Just waiting for him to destroy leeds...There is a HUGE difference between cheating someone out of a play off game than there is sticking the V sign up to a TV camera when a) most children already know the V sign and b) Englands youth is a mess. swearing may not be apart of our sport...but when was cheating!?!?! Cheats deserve everything they get hence why not many wiganers had sympathy for mcguire. he's a dirty cheat.'"
You need help.
Clearly, you and Electricdildoslidingwarrior will have to fight for the love of your mutual obsession.

So what, he stuck two fingers up, who can blame him, he is a young lad full of passion, he obviously has feelings. How can he be expected to put up with the stick he gets and not react. Are people on here just jealous because he has a talent they wish they had. Boycott internationals, never watch Wigan again, cheated us out of a cup final, we would have won if we had superman, wonderwoman and spiderman on our team.
I also follow Leeds United but thought it was ace when Cantona booted that Palace fan.
So it is okay to stand on the terraces giving out abuse but when someone reacts they should be shot ?
Puzzles me'"
I honestly believe that you have deliberately posted the above to be antagonistic and purely to provoke a reaction from other posters.
Such behaviour is commonly referred to as “trolling” – you are a troll and not a very good one either, and as such should be treated as a troll.
By placing yourself in the troll category no-one will take anything you post with any seriousness and you have no credibility as a laudable poster.

So why weren't you at the game?
You may have valid reasons (of course all this is on the pretext that you're not a sad troll, amd I'll play along). However, you'll forgive me if I don't give a tuppeny about your views on Leeds fans who actually got off their arrises and went to the game.
And FFS when will peoploe realise, Tomkins was booed by a crowd at Headingley. Not a Leeds ccrowd. He was booed by Hull, Cas and other club's supporters. He was booed because he's reviled within the whole game, not just in Leeds, not respected, because his awful antics and attituide outshine his amazing talents.

| He won't do the two-fingered saltue again, because someone has now clearly explained to him what it means.
Immediately after the game, he claimed to have no idea what he'd done. Clearly, as his subsequent apology shows, he now knows. Well done to whoever sat him down and made sure he is aware.
And I'm sure it had nothing to do with realising that his gesture was captured by the cameras.

| sam made no contribution? made 30 meters more than anyone else on the field, and as everyone knows sam wasnt present and made no breaks, so therefore these must have been the hard yards.

Now that really is funny!
I think everyone knows what happened. Wigan would have scored, and Danny M committed a professional foul to stop the try, unfortunately suffering a serious injury in the process. He's not the first to commit such a foul and won't be the last, and I for one don't particularly blame him for doing it - it was a spur of the moment decision that many players would make.
However, to dress it up with that story you concocted is just ridiculous.

Nobody boos anybody for wearing the England shirt.
But we can pretend that you meant booing someone who is wearing an England shirt in a representative game.
For one. Any England side in any sport is representative of that sport in England. The players whom wear their countries colours represent the ideals, values and skills of the players of that sport in England.
Sam T may have the skills to represent England. But in my opinion his ideals, values and morals are not up to scratch and therefore I don't wish to see him represent me, as a Rugby League player or an Englishman.
I don't boo players anymore, I am not ten and the pantomime villains are nearly all gone.
If I were to boo Sam T it would be aimed at McBanana for selecting someone who is in my opinion unfit to represent his country.

| I don't have an issue with booing at an England shirt. If anyone ever catches me booing at Sam Tomkins in an England shirt, I'm not booing him personally. I'm booing at his England shirt.
I could never boo at a GB shirt though, so if anyone ever catches me booing at Sam Tomkins in a GB shirt, I'm not booing at the GB shirt personally. I'm booing at Sam Tomkins.

| I will be taking in a few of this years Four Nations games and intend to boo constantly at the England team. This way none of the other players will feel left out when TomPkins gets boo'd.
Oops, forgot to take the 'P' out of TomPkins - mental note "must take the 'P' out of TomPkins".

Sliding tackle with his boot inches from Clarke's head. Trying to stop the try apparently. Professional foul in my opinion.

Dirty little Rat Boy tried to kick the ball out of Clarke's hand while he was sliding over.

But Ganson looked at it as the VR, gave the try, but didn't penalise Tomkins.

Fair enough really.
Nobody (bar perhaps Billy Slater) likes to see feet used in that way as it's an accident waiting to happen. Another RFL warning letter should suffice. The collection should be coming along nicely. He'll soon be able to do swaps with Ryan Bailey.
Speaking of Ganson he at least showed some consistency when ruling Atkins to have knocked on when tackling Farrell. The key to those decisions is whether the ball is being passed when the defender makes contact.
I don't particularly like the current interpretation but I like it even less when it's inconsistently applied.
