Leeds played Wigan in the same way the Catalans did in Montpellier - the hustled Wigan and didn't allow them to settle - difference was the reffing in Montpellier was more consistent and Catalans played for the full 80 and not the last 60 as Leeds did - unlucky Leeds but there are loads of positives to take from this game. |

Wouldn't surprise me [iyour coach[/i getting up to those additional foul tactics....didn't notice him doing it though. He's obviously quite adept at it. |

Some bad decisions going against us today, however sometimes they go for you sometimes they don't. Thought the touch judge was poor but whenever I see him ref the championship games he is poor.
Today we didn't get the decisions, but we have before and looking back calmly I was really happy how we performed and came back into it. At the start it could have been embarrassing, but the boys did themselves proud

As a Neutral, I thought the game was settled by at least 3 bad calls by the officials, this denied Leeds the opportunity to win the game. I know it happens in super league games, but for christs sake this was a challange cup final. Video ref could have sorted 2 out of 3 of these decisions. One last comment to make is that the touch judges at todays game are even worse linesmen than they are refereees.

Never thought I would say this but James Childs was the best official out there today. Mind you I don't think he was given as many chances to foul up as Bentham and Hicks.
