Neutrally, Cunningham is the obvious answer. In terms of longevity, importance to team, and trophies won, then Long, Deacon and Peacock would be around too.

If we're only allowing players who have been consistently outstanding at international level then we'd have an empty list.

It depends on the criteria. Gilmour & Johnson are long serving journeymen but hardly key influencial players.

Of those that have also lasted the course Cunningham, Deacon & Sinfield are perhaps the most influential creative players of SL era with Peacock not so much creative but still still hugely influential.

I like Senior, a good honest pro and a great example for any youngster, but he isn't a 'great' in the true sense of the word.....He's been a reliable cog in a good machine, rather than ever being a leading light who would be a matchwinner.

Like I said, he's been a cog in an efficient machine.....His present form is probably down to Leeds' general mediocrity...Leeds play well, Senior looks good, Leeds play poor, Senior ain't so good.

He has never ever been a match changer in the Meninga, Inglis, Jonathan Davies type of centre.....Good solid pro, nothing more.

Infinitely preferable to your Blue & Amber monocular vision.
