Having now seen the video , I actually think its a nice kit, but its not a Leeds Rl kit, it needs the irregular hoop somewhere in it.

I have to admit having seen a better quality pic of it i quite like it but would of preffered the darker hoops to be Amber

All RL shirts are based on a similar style. There is only so much you can do. Coming up with 2 unique designs year after year is difficult, especially when you get too close to a previous design and you get people moaning. People have already mention that its not a Leeds RL style kit, which I agree on, but you get to the point where your on in a no win situation. This shirt to me has Wigan written all over it, its a Wigan kit in the wrong colours.

I actually quite like it, but agree it needs more amber in it to be recognisable as a Leeds home shirt.

Anyone know if Leeds are doing similar to Saints in that they are offering a players shirt and a supporters shirt, the supporters shirt being about £40 and the other being about £70. I'd be much more interested in a players style shirt.

Whatever happened to Gawwy's promise of a few years ago that the home and away kits would be changed in alternate years I wonder...?

The players style replica shirts may aswell well have 'BELL END' printed on the back

Meh, a fool and his money are soon parted.

They do this in the NFL.

They have a crappy version with poor material and transfers for the names and numbers for $70.

Then they have the mid version with decent material, stitched names and stitched numbers but some transfers for the Reebok logo and a few other pieces. Thats about $130.

Then the players replica is all stitched and exactly the same as what they wear. The material is strong and there are no transfers. Thats about $250 though



I like the idea of a few different versons. It gives everone an option.

If the kit designer came on here and read everybody's input and opinion we'd never get a kit made trying to please everyone. Some people are only happy with a traditional "Leeds" kit, but that would annoy the people who moan about it only being slightly different every year. I personally don't care what it looks like as long as it's any combination in any quantity of blue, amber or white and there's a Leeds badge on the breast.

There's only so much they can do, at the end of the day... it's a Rugby shirt. It has to have 2 arm holes and a head hole, they can't really get much more radical can they.

It's simple, if you don't like the kit, don't buy it.

On a side note, why do they always have to model the new kit in a darkened room?

As for the traditional design, why not stick with it ? Just take some of the big Melbourne Aussie Rules clubs. Whilst making MINOR changes to their shirts each year, they still stick with the same overall shirt designs that the team wore at the turn of the 19th / 20th century.

The overall shirt of blue, with three irregular amber hoops should be able to give any half decent designer enough to work with.

The club should be dictating the design to the jersey makers, not the other way around ....

I wonder how many people might be interested in a blue & amber, traditional style shirt ?
