I'm only interested to see how many games brother Joel gets for his unwarranted intervention that could have caused a mass brawl, just as we saw last Thursday at the Shay in similar circumstances.

If anything brother Joel did Leeds a favour on the night by creating a distraction and one which allowed his younger brother to demonstrate just how badly shook up he was (by the Ablett challenge) by attempting to join in.

Calm down love your slip is showing. Presenting an alternative view to the hysterical initial view thats all. My personal view on that one is that it was put on report and wil be dealt with by the disciplinary panel. Ablett will recieve whatever punishment they decide is correct and thats that.

As for your bleating on about Baileys raised knee being worse than pube heads and glass jaws..how so? a raised knee is a raised knee..think you need to sit in a dark room with no internet access for a few hours, your taking all this quite badly.

I havent said it was worse you really need to read before you post. I probably worded it badly for some of you simple folk, but it was in response to someone saying that us Wigan fans should want Fielden banned for the same offence. All i said is that if they were as bad then yes they should have.

Your text here implies that the raised knee committed by Bailey was somehow worse than the other two.

Or: If the raised knee commited by O'loughlin and Fielden were as bad as the one committed by Bailey those two would have been rightly banned and you wouldnt have complained. However as they were not as bad as the one committed by Bailey they recieved a warning only. As Baileys was worse he should be banned.

If anything kicked off, the mass brawl would have been a direct result of Ablett's forearm to the face. Joel Tomkins and the others who got involved may have been in the wrong but anybody who tries to justify what hapened to Sam using this are taking the wrong attitude towards our sport.

Read it again properly. He is not trying to justify what happenned to Sammy wammy. He merely expresses wonder at what will happen to the other tomkins brat for steaming in from distance with the potential to spark off a mass brawl.

In reply to the OP. No every team needs to have players that are physical and intimidating! Its the game! Sometimes these incidents occure because the game is physical and if they are punished correctly then that is fine! Its the deliberate attempts to injure players but these are very few and far between!!

It was, in the eye of the people that count, the review panel, a RECKLESS tackle as it was grade c offence. It was not Careless/Reckless... that does not exist as an offence!

Anyone who saw the end of Halifax - Widnes game at the Shay on Thursday will understand the point.

Fortunately the full-time professional players were somewhat more restrained in their actions than the semi-pro bretheren. Had it kicked off in a similar fashion the initial challenge would have paled by comparison.

There is no place in SL for players taking the law into their own hands.

I agree. When Joelene went unnecessarily wading in, our pack should have sorted matters instead of the football-esque pushing and shoving which ensued.

Further to this, dirty doesn't just mean penalties and daft going-on.

It's about getting your hands dirty in the tackle.

It's an area we have not made the most of this year. Far too soft in the tackle.

No velocity at all in this area. We need to re-ignite the killer instinct.

If a player slips and falls - smash 'em. Not just nicely fall on them so they are tackled. Let's give teams some grief again.

I'm hoping this is an area we will crank up starting this week.
