| Bone crusher of a tackle by Kylie causes a knock-on to relieve pressure from another Quins attack.

| Lee Smith hat-trick (although a suspicion of a knock-on) in the build-up.

| What an effort!
Just shows the fringe players can step up to the plate when needed. This result should lay down a good marker for the rest of the season. Glad it was worth it for all the fans who have made the journey

| Well done Leeds, the best side seen in London this season, Wigan and Wire are yet to come. Brilliant spirited attack and defence. Quins RL didn't turn up for a big game in the capital once again, Dorn and Howell excepted.
You really must get a refs badge for Messrs Senior and Webb, who bullied Mr Childs all afternoon, IMO.

The answer is in his own back pocket, referees in RL have always had the option of a yellow card for dissent or simply for players shouting at them - they should use the facility more often.

Surprised by that Childs has been woefull when he's reffed us this season.

| Childs was poor, like a rabbit in the headlights one of the worst performances i have seen this year. He was poor to both sides I don't know if this is good or bad.

It's the usual high standards set by the Refs commisioner Mr Cummings i'm afraid so don't esxpect any major improvements anytime soon.
Still a great win for us and will be interested to hear from the Rhinos fans at the game and see how they thought the stand ins got on.

| The stand ins as you call them did very well. An all round good team performance. a few missed tackles and knock on's ( not as bad as Harlequins) Diskin looked tired and slow think he must of picked up a knock. Once again too many stupid penalties, Back chatting must be the worst pen you can give away! and a lot for high tackles some questionable. Can not wait to see the pen count. and error count. But in the whole the future looks bright.

Would be most interested in how McShane performed ? Did Ablett spend whole match at stand off ? You're right about the 'silly penalties'...seems really daft for a professional team. Less said about Diskin the better I guess (don't want to start 'that one' again)
Did Buderus have a good game ?

Clarkson ? Seems he is being groomed as often as possible for the LF position. Did Bush get on ?
I agree it appears to have been a magnificent performance from a much depleted team on paper. How many dilemmas has it left McClennan for selection next match I wonder ?? It's great for the club and its future....looking forward to taking my step-son to Wembley AND to Manchester ...making his education away from Union most satisfyingly complete.

| In answer to some of the questions above
Bush did get on, but IIRC only right at the end of the game.
Selection dilemas - not really apart from fitting Hall back in with Webb, Donald, Senior, Smith, Delaney, which was already an issue before this game. The new lads did well and look to be good prospects, but for me the game was won by some big performances from the regulars, especially (in no particular order) Smith, Kylie, Ablett (who did spend much of the game at SO), Webb and Buderus.

Thanks for that. Where did he stick Bush when he came on ? Did McShane have a good game in your opinion ?
Somebody else on here recently suggested giving Hall a run at LF to solve the issue of where to slot in Smith.....imaginative.
I confess my imagination doesn't stretch that far....but hey what do I know. I never envisaged Ablett as a stand off, or even a centre, but he seemingly continues to confound the sceptics.
Anybody else think there is any mileage in the suggestion of Hall at LF ?
