Forgive me if I am giving you the impression that I am some sort of interlectual, that was not my intention. The problem is that when you are dealing with an idiot of the highest order perhaps thats the way its perceived, who knows who really cares. As a matter of interest can you just enlighten me as to what it is grammatically that I have upset you with, assuming its not too much trouble. Thanks in advance.

Head High, don't read this. Wouldn't want to upset you.
You used the apostrophe at the end of scientists which you were expressing as a plural. The apostrophe only comes in to indicate ownership, e.g. the rocket scientists' lab coats.
The second sentence went on to pose a question, but was completed with a full stop rather than a question mark.
Small points, but accuracy costs nothing.

I know a rocket scientist, I went to school with him in Wakefield. He is now a professor at CalTec and is a consultant at NASA. He is a Mars atmosphere specialist, as well as a general rocket scientist and worked on most of NASA's Mars 'stuff' over the last 15 years.
He uses the internet all the time, in fact, he is a Facebook friend as well. So he even does social networking on the internet...

That's exactly where I would expect a rocket scientist to do his social networking. Before the Internet he wouldn't have done anything social at all that didn't involve 20 sided dice.
Now biologists on the other hand......

Funnily enough my next door neighbours son was a rocket scientist. He worked for the government (he was in his 30's when I was 9 or 10). He drove a sports car and dressed like Terry Thomas. He had "bounder" and "cad" written all over him.
Once every generation I guess..

| Gosh....I only asked a simple question. I've now had chance to watch the SLTV highlights and my question has been answered: clever (fast) running by Brough.
Some of you guys can be very harsh, Lol. In my youth I was an avid home and away supporter......these days I make no excuses for my picking and choosing of which matches I want to attend; considering my family commitments, responsibilities and geographical location. Keep smiling guys/gals...if we can learn to play consistently like we know we can (Eastwood looks a very fine additional acquisition) then we have nothing to fear. The way we play at times does compel me to contemplate divorce, abandoning my children and moving back in with my old mum back in Leeds. Would that make some of you happier ?? (As if I really care)

Don't worry about it, I live within walking distance (OK a slightly long walk) of the ground but also pick and choose which games to attend - the ones where I don't have to pay being the only choice at the moment

You're a man after my own heart....the apostrophe seem's (lol) to have become such a bl**dy problem for so many people....and yet it's so simple. You forget to mention it's also used to indicate missing letter or [iletters[/i (very much here [ino[/i apostrophe), but not if [iit's[/i to show [iits[/i lack of presence in a plural
