Edwards probably doesn't want it, and I'd like to see him have a club appointment in RL first anyway.

Outside that, there aren't loads of English candidates springing to mind, and I'd rather have the right man for it than go for an English coach who isn't up to it. I doubt you'd tempt Wayne Bennett, but he'd be the dream pick. Failing that, I wouldn't mind tempting Justin Morgan away from Craven Park to do the job.

Full time coach (presumably well paid) of high profile RU club with high profile international players. Part time coach of Wales. Surrounded by reasonably to well educated fans.

He'll not be taking a role at a SL club just to have know nowt ts (I am able to say that aren't I) and fair to ill educated morons trying to have an opinion on things they have 100% no clue about. And risk ruining his reputation by being national coach, not a chance.

I dont think McRae will get it. Personally I would like Hanley given another shot, but think and won't be dissapointed that Waite will be back. I dont think Waite did that bad a job the first time.

I dont think that is that fair on him. People let the positions thing cloud their memory. He didn't just pick any loose. He tried to accomodate the best players, and it didn't work, just so happend they were all 13's.
