I feel bad for the kids that have Burrows on their shirts. I want to go to the parents and let them know that not only is it wrong, but its costing them money to get it wrong...

You may mock but, honestly, I saw that spelling – 'Maguire' printed on the back of a shirt once.

I felt embarrassed for the lad.

Like many have said, we have a lot of players who bring different things to the team, and it's been a good mix over the past few years. I could make very strong cases for McGuire, Burrow, Peacock, Lauititi, Webb and Senior, and could do so for Diskin too over the last 5 or 6 years. But if I had to choose one player it would be Sinfield. I think many people above have covered the reasons behind my choice.

What if Maguire was his surname?

Umm – never thought of that, if Maguire was his name then he made an unfortunate choice by having printed on his shirt.

If your name was Buchanan-Jones would you get it emblazoned on your shirt?

IMO that would currently have to be Sinfield.

The players choice is Sinfield and I would have to agree although Senior has been outstanding and Ali has had a crucial impact in serveral key matches. Hall has improved and Peacock has done a lot of slog

But for me it has to go Sinfield for creative skill & leadership, still up with the top tacklers and leading goalkicker therefore his all round performance puts him way ahead of any other players contribution and the main reason we finished in the No 1 spot.

Why, I know him, he's a top lad is Dave Maguire, why are you picking on him, he just wanted his name on his replica shirt!

We look pants without Burrow(s). I think he's the most underestimated contributer to the team.

Peacock is the best Leeds player I have seen, particularly at international level. In terms of club performance I can't knock Sinfield. Take either of those players out and you lose a great deal from your side. Same with Saints and somebody like Graham. Immense players for their clubs.

Last night he was shocking again, lost the ball three times on tackle 2, missed tackles, got hammered in the tackle time and time again, and some on hear think he's world class.





His pace is almost reaching joke status.

He should never ever get near a GB shirt.

You think losing the ball three times on the second tackle warrants a Leeds top performance, he also missed the tackle for the Mogg try, its nice to see you missing 80% of what makes a Rugby League player...........







If you think the pass hitting the ground for Donalds try was anything special you are deluded, in a tight game Sinfield attempting to play better than his ability allows will lose Leeds the game.

Lets hope next week he plays to his ability.

He made errors yes but so did all of them. Peacock fell of two bad tackles in the nervy opening ten mins, Hall's defensive reading was terrible throughout, Smith had a shocker and McGuire's passing found the floor or the touchline more than it did the receiver's hands (it was McGuire errors that gifted Catalan possession for their first two tries).

But you don't have a hard on for those players, just SInfield.
When it came to it, he was the cutting edge and the difference between winning and losing,, notwithstanding the errors.

It's hard to pick a best Leeds player, I'd put the following in the best players bracket though:

Sinfield, Peacock, McGuire, Buderus and Lauitiiti
