A great gesture by the south stand and much credit to Senior. I can't imagine the pain he must have been in, and to then clap the south stand in acknowledgement shows what a tough ba$tard he is. If anyone can recover from this then Chev can.

Firstly, I would like to send my thoughts to Chev Walker, I really hope that it isn't his career over, although it may seem that way. He doesn't have age on his side either.

Secondly, the SS tonight was a credit to the RL world, fantastic gesture to chant an opposition's player's name.

Sky have shown it a few times on the replay just now. Horrific. Justin Morgan's face said it all.

Ive suffered a leg break myself, It not nice. It was only a minor one similar to Kirke's - crutches and pot for 6 weeks and even that got me down emotionally. Until youve experienced it you dont know how much it get you down emotionally. Little things like ing about with crutches whilst getting off the sofa and stuff like that really get to you. I really cannot imagine doing it for months on end. Its going to be a tough few months for chevy, but he'll pull thou!

Much credit to ALL Leeds fans for their immediate response to the injury.

Chev may have been in shock and the adrenaline may have taken some of the pain away at that moment although I'm still sure it would have hurt like mad!

I first and foremost hope he ruturns within the next 18mths but if this is a career ending injury I have heard great things about his enthusiasm in training and how good he is with the youth so maybe there will be a coaching job for him at Rovers or even down at Leeds.

Anyone else get shivers down there spine when the chant started? Just like a few years ago when Vainikolo's name was chanted after he got the game stopped and pulled Rob Burrow's mouth guard out after he got knocked out.

Maybe not the thread for this, but here goes .... Contrast the reaction of the Leeds fans to a serious injury of an opposition player when compared to the ambulance 'chants' that Ryan Bailey was subjected to by numerous Robins fans, when he was carried off in a neck brace after a similar lengthy suspension in play at Craven Park earlier in the season ?

I registered on redvee a few minutes ago - I've just about managed tolerate all the garbage I've read on there in recent weeks, but the accusations of foul play on Keith's part in the Chev incident were just too much - something has to be said to these morons, but not in manner that reduces oneself to their level. To be fair, within a couple of minutes I had a pm from a Saints fan applauding my comment and asking me not to judge all Saints fans by the comments of a select few. There are plenty of decent Saints fans out there - redvee just happens to be inhabited by some of the really stupid ones.

I'm not going to get into a flame with you over that, I genuinely don't remember it. However, I'm more than prepared to believe you, in my humble opinion, we at HKR have more than our fair share of idiot fans, I have to put up with them on a weekly basis (although I don't recognise their faces from going to Featherstone, Whitehaven or Skolars) lucky for you that you don't.

This will sound a bit brown nosey, but I really do mean it when I say that hopefully some of our lot can learn from a champion team how to behave like champion fans.

Being a lad that still plays Rugby League, I had to turn around from the injury and I was nearly sick upon seing it, I hope to god I see nothing as bad in my lifetime again!

Horrendous injury and I hope he makes a full recovery from it. As has been said elsewhere well done to senior for the way he reacted so quickly as soon as he realised what had happened.

Perhaps those who are patting themselves on the back for their chants in support of Chev (it was a nice gesture) could reflect upon the completely and utterly pointless 'wash your mouth' song (and other gems such as 'sing when you're fishing').

Why would they when they can leave that to you? Your credibility is zip.
