Its all completely wrong. Lets be honest these Wardens are only here for the money and not the safety of the public. I live opposite a school where similar fines get handed out. My blood boils when I see one of them putting tickets onto people’s cars. Next time I may just film them and do a Youtube series - Whose fining you?

You have got to be joking. Seriously?????? You ave got to be trolling with this one.

No am not. In fact since the fines have been in place a little girl got run over. Never happened before that. The world has gone completely safety mad. The school has even had higher fences erected during my time living opposite it despite it just been a small wall for years.

You dont see the danger of cars parking outside a school????

you've been unlucky i always park there and have never had any bother. although now i think i'll be parking further down and walking up!!

The scary thing is he probably doesn't.

I would love to see the reaction he got if he stood outside a school with his video camera though!

It's no good people saying there is a notice in the ticket office - you have to go in there before you see it, then when you go outside you've already got a ticket! We've all parked there for years and there's never been a problem. Incidentally, when I parked there, there was a white van parked also, and a chap emptying rubbish from one of the houses. He said the students had gone home and he was clearing the place out!

So he was the landlord then, or working for the landlord ?

If I were the landlord or working for the landlord then I'd make sure I had a residents parking permit wouldn't you ?

how about looking at the signs along the road telling you that you can't park there? If you take the choice to park there when the signs clearly say you shouldn't then you risk getting a ticket.

It's pointless, he doesnt understand plain English....obviously.

There are 2 signs opposite the ticket office relating to parking restrictions. One, and only one, says that it's a restricted zone and you can only park for, I think, an hour. All the others say Residents Only. There's no difference in the bays, so I always make sure I park under the sign saying Limited Time, which is the nearest to the indoor cricket school.

If I ever fancy a subway for lunch rather than walk 10 mins into town and ten mins back I will often drive to the one at Elland Road because I can park outside the door.
