Will Shenton and Atkins still be in contract because I can't see us paying a fee for anyone. Lyon would be great but unrealistic IMO. Probably end up being an NRL recruit (not a clue who though) I would imagine.

I don;t see Lyon as that unachievable. people only though that Harris would come back to Leeds and it didn't happen.

I have no knowledge of how much Lyon loves saints, but initially he only came over here because he wasn't allowed to play NRL, and money talks. If he's available he should come. For one year Senior and Lyon would be immense in the centres

He's similar to Smith (ie young and english) but is a classier all round player IMO.

In an ideal world one of our apparent riches of academy centres (Gibson, Ratu, Watkins or Broughton) would be ready to stop in, but I feel there is a long way to go for some of them. Someone of quality needs to be recruited, and I suspect he will come from Australasia.

One player leaving creates an opportunity for another to shine, whether than be Jones-Bishop as a backup at full-back and wing or Watkins in the centres.

If Leeds are going to be investing in Antipodean talent in the off-season, I'd rather it was up front as opposed to the backs.
